how do I get started???

RPG sounds fun, but how do you start??? whats the basic idea. And I see a lot of made up characters, what do i have to do to make up a character to play with?? to create a character do I have to post in the sticky thread or just in the rpg thread i join? thanksabunch

To join an RPG, first you should make sure you have a fairly good idea of what's going on in that story.

Anyway, it's like playing pretend, only in writing. You may play a canon character, or make up your own.

If you make up your own character, basic stats are a must. Name, appearance, and basic history. Stuff that's in everybody else's profile. The "stats", numbered abilities are not necessary, but if you wish them for your character, contact heretic666 and he can help
