NEW for 2018: What's your favorite MCU film?
This is basically an updated version of this thread, to account for the release of Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War.
So, what's your new favorite Marvel movie? Have you seen them all, or just most of them, or only a few? BONUS QUESTIONS: What's your favorite movie from each Phase? wow, Iron Man 3 is 2013? Wow So I haven't seen an MCU film in 5 years
 Well at least a complete movie. That movie burned me out on 5 years worth of movies and there's tons now. My favorite is Iron Man, it felt so fresh, every other MCU film in Phase 1 was just more of the same, including Avengers. Everything I've seen from the post Phase 1 movies also feel like more of the same, granted I haven't watched much but based on the youtube clips that I've seen I think I've seen enough to justify my views. I love Marvel and will check them out one day, I realize it's a dream come true so it sucks to be burnt on the characters when they have their live action golden age.Also no MCU film in 2009, I'm guessing they were still figuring out what to do with the MCU after the success of Iron Man. That's also the only year that only one Marvel movie came out that year (Origins:Wolverine), every other year besides that one since 2002 had minimum 2 Marvel movies every year. So even back then we were getting tons of Marvel films. No Marvel movies in 1999 or 2001 or the "at least 1 Marvel film per year" would've started since 1998 with Blade. |

I've only seen Iron Man 1/2, GOTG 1/2, Dr. Strange, & Ant Man, of those listed. I guess I'd give GOTG my vote.

My faves from each phase? Let's see.
Phase 1: Captain America: First Avenger Iron Man Avengers: Assemble Thor Phase 2: Captain America: Winter Soldier Guardians of the Galaxy Ant-Man Iron Man 3 Phase 3: Black Panther Captain America: Civil War Doctor Strange Avengers: Infinity War Thor: Ragnarok Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Looking at the list, it seems the movies are getting better with each phase. They still have their flaws, of course, but they have gotten better at keeping the humor low-key. (With the possible exception of Guardians and Ragnarok, though Guardians is intended to be lighter, and Ragnarok was mostly due to Hulk's tantrums and the Grandmaster.)

Guardians 1 is my all time favorite and Phase Three has no bad films. |

I’ve only watched most MCU films up to Civil War, but my favourites are Iron Man 1, Thor 1, Avengers Assemble and Winter Soldier.

Vol. 1 Final Boss Fight but as a dance off and holding hands in a circle group. Like wtf. And Quill is just gratingly annoying for me in the first one tbh.
He’s better in Vol. 2, heck Vol. 2 is better overall imo. |

Watched all of the MCU movies (again) before going to Infinity War, here's my list by Phase.
Phase 1 Avengers Captain America: The First Avenger Iron Man 2 Iron Man Thor The Incredible Hulk Phase 2 Ant-Man Guardians of the Galaxy Captain America: The Winter Soldier Avengers: Age of Ultron Iron Man 3 Thor: The Dark World Phase 3 Captain America: Civil War Black Panther Avengers: Infinity War Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Thor: Ragnarok Spider-Man: Homecoming Doctor Strange Overall I would say the original Avengers movie is still my favourite and Doctor Strange is my least favourite. |
