Mirage Ultimate Collection Vol. 6
Has anyone else noticed they totally botched the printing for the vol 6 Ultimate Collection? Several stories in there are missing the zip tone on the artwork. Was wondering if it's just my copy or if it's a widespread issue. This is for the softcover version, BTW.

Yes, it’s pretty much all versions. Though haven’t heard anything about the soft cover

Duoshade tones were missing in a couple of issues in previous volumes of this collection as well, I'm sure at least one was in the City at War arc or in Shades of Gray (ironic, uh?). I saw this happening in an italian reprint of those same issues years before so the problem is either Mirage sending wrong/incomplete material to Viacom/IDW or IDW using wrong version of those.
All in all I believe this is actually pretty cool. If you have a copy of the original issues it is cool to compare and see how much the tones radically change the way the pages look. EDIT: Just checked: in Ultimate Collection vol. 4 issues #49, #53 and #54 were missing Duoshade tones. I can't believe that went unnoticed to the guy who put the book together but as far I can remember there never was an official statement from IDW about it.
