#1, Splinter, God of Static Cling! Think about it...you ever pet your cat while its dry? *Rub. Zap! Rub. Zap!* I think Splinter would be just miserable in dry weather. His fur would be standing on end, and every time he touches something metallic...Zap!

#2, Splinter as the Goblin King from Labyrinth. I watched it last night and was struck by the line, "Let's get that rat who calls himself Jareth!" It didn't hurt when it struck, but it left the idea in my brain.

i was doing some uh "rat research" for maybe CLUE #1 about rat anatomy.... so i could draw the idea i'd had. I found the "breeders" pages and there was this one... SPOILED RATTEN ... that had some kid's in the gallery shots playing with the rodents... I just started doodling the picture i ended up with in class ...
