I decided to put up this topic so people could let everyone know when they update their pages. i know there are several sites that i'd like to keep tabs on, but i never know when they add something new, so i thought i'd put this up so, hopefully, myself and others don't have to keep checking back all the time. I'm lazy, so sue me. (er, just kidding. don't sue me.)

well, since i last visited the forum, i added quite a bit to my page. avatars are up, as is poetry. none of my fanart is up, but since i already had some of my original art scanned before the summer started, it's posted now. i hope you guys like it, it's not great, but it's a sampling of my style.

LOL! Woah, thanks for the kind comments, everyone! I really love that HeroMachine... I've been playing with it for a long time now. I tried making Kali with it, but she never turns out right. :goofygri:

I want to get my hands on HeroMachine version 2, but it's only in the beta stage now. Once it's finished, it'll cost $20! :o The website said that it'll have a bunch of new animal-types though, and I'm curious if it'll include turtles... I was happy with how Frost turned out, even though he's missing a lot of details that would make him a true turtle.

Heh... The Mango Rap was written by KC, not by me. I got her permission to post it, so I did. I thought it was pretty clever. :anime: I seem to have too much free time, but I wish that free time could be spent on a job. But no one wants to hire me, and summer's practically over. I go back to school in a few more weeks. :(

I'm really excited about everyone else's current projects, especially the Hybrid Contest! And I'm looking forward to reading more of Kali's latest fic, and I'm hoping to see updates for Nun's and HT's fics, too. ;) Ooh, and I can't wait to see SC's very own website!! 'Tis a good time to be a TMNT fan. :anime:

i'd like to apologise to everyone for my absence from the forums and the problems with the website. i just made this post to say that it'll be awhile before my next post. this past week i've been settling back into the school schedule, and the computer i use there can't be used to update the site. however, i'm still waiting on a new computer, from which i will be able to update. thanks for the compliments, HT! cool avatar, by the way. i may not be able to get on the t-drome that often now that school's started, but i'll try. i miss everyone!

Since you used a page builder to make it, I doubt if I can help you much in making the site "skinnier". But see it there is a width setting on the page builder, that will let you make it around 640 or 770 pixels wide.

I actually have another new website, but it's just a non-TMNT Flash one I made for school. If anyone is interested in that, lemme know. :P

I tried that but it puts all of the graphics out of line. Oh well, next time I put one of these together I'll play with the width setting first. The template itself is straight out of MS Publisher with a couple of changes for the graphics.

Do you have Word 2000? They also have a webpage making feature to it. Might be easier to set up too. I use that to convert my fanfic pages to html.

Hrmm.. I don't think I had Red Bull either. I had these little energy drinks in Korea, but that didn't make me hyper. It's usually the caffeine in one cup of coffee or iced tea that makes me just tremble. Sugar just makes me giddy (with a sudden energy drain after). The worse thing I hate about caffiene or alcohol... is that I have to go to the bathroom more often. :goofygri:

NEWS OF THE WONDERFUL SORT!!! I got permission from the person in charge of the computer lab here at school to download the software i need to update my page onto a school's computer's hard-drive!!

Here's one for the strange but effective forms of Asian punishments... I was watching some VHS recordings of Korean TV and movies my hubby has. One way the elders like to punish their pupils, is to make them stand on their head, but the feet are also still on the ground and their hands are behind their back. Otherwise, they have their butt up in the air, and they are standing on their tippy toes. I guess that puts more pressure on the head and muscles... cuase they are requred to stay in that position for a looong time. :dead:
