Which to be honest is how the trailers have made me feel about him, which is unfortunate. I mean come on, who doesn't usually like Mikey, even if he isn't your fave. This version so far though, no thanks; creepy-looking creeper.
Fart joke... while at my age is just "bleh," I'm not surprised it's there. Given Nick's current programming they're eventually going to have a series that's just one big half hour fart joke anyhow. The billboard.. fine, giggle over it Mikey. At least Raph looks like he sighs/shakes his head in response. The sexual comments though... As a woman in my 30s I can't help but look at that from the angle of being in April's position receiving unwanted, uninvited sexual comments from someone, let alone non-human people you're kind of afraid of, look like Mikey, and are way too young for you anyhow. As I said, IF Mikey is put in his place over it, fine, I can sorta forgive such lines. But in a social context it's distasteful that Hollywood likes to do this to female characters. Even Megan Fox. Sure, it's "just teenagers acting like teenagers" IF we assume all teens act exactly the same. (Can't tell me some kids out there don't resent that notion.) And ok there's tv and internet, but this is also four non-humans who did not grow up around humans and instead of spending much of the time surrounded by other teens in high school and getting that strong influence they spent much of their whole lives involved in martial arts training, something that would naturally be instilling a lot of discipline and decent behavior as taught by Splinter...at least enough not act creepy to people.
