The episode idea thread (Turtle Torture Edition)

Since were are going to get a humans vs. Mutants plot line late next season, perhaps we may see groups like HAVOC.


I know the one off stories aren't popular, but they can be good if done well they could be enjoyable.

So it could be possible to do a Nick Version of the episode H.A.T.E. from the 2k3.

The Turtles have been exposed to the media and Mutants are being hunted through out New York. The Turtles have left for break at the farm house so they can recover from the stress this is causing them and figure out what they need to do.

Donnie has grown quiet and keeps to himself much of the time.

Mikey is happy to help and tries to keep things optimistic

Raph tries to be there for his brothers however possible. But at the same time struggling with the injustice about how they save the lives of every human on several occasions, and all they get repaid with is contempt and fear.

Leo is determined to face whatever challenges may come, and while he doesn't expect the world would willingly accept them for what they are. He wants to prove that not all mutants are the monsters humans believe them to be.

Splinter has accepted that this is a new challenge in their lives and that they would have to face it as it comes.

One morning April is out with the Turtles picking peaches (or Apples, oranges) from the orchard that is on the farms property. A wounded man (Michael Murphy) runs out of the woods and passes out. Michael awakens and freaks out because he's surrounded by mutants. April and Casey calm him down and tell him that the Turtles are the good kind of mutants. Donnie asks permission to examine Michael's injuries.

Michael is dubious about mutants being good but allows Donnie to examine his injuries only. While Donnie is doing this he informs them that he was part of a malita group called "Human's Against Revolting Mutants" or H.A.R.M. Unfortunately Skonk their leader is planning to unleash a nuke in New York City...to deal with the mutant problem. While Michael feels that mutants should be dealt with, he doesn't want to kill innocent men, women, and children in order to do it. When he objected to the plan they tried to silence him so he wouldn't report them to the authorities.

They hear voices approaching and Michael freaks out knowing that is the rest of his militia buddies and they are coming to finish him off. The Turtles tell April and Casey to get the wounded man to the nearest hospital. In the mean time they would fend off the Militia supporters.

The malitia supporters continue looking for their insubordinate. One of them mentions there is a farm house near by. And poses the possibility that Michael could have talked to the people living there. Skonk, says they would kill everyone in the farm house if needed to keep 'em from talking.

The malitia is confronted by the Turtles and chased away. Skonk wants to deal away with the Turtle mutants. He has some of his followers Chet, Spuds, and Puke to spy on the Turtles and they learn the "Mutant Scum" live in the farm house with a human boy and girl. Skonk sends his followers to eliminate the mutants and the two traitors.

The Turtle in the mean time discuss what should be done about the bomb. Raph says Donnie would take care of it. Donnie however speaks up and and says no.

Casey and Raph starts to tell Donnie off for being a coward. Donnie however says he doesn't want the bomb to go to New York. But he's never dealt with a nuke before. If he dismantles it wrong, the thing could explode and cause a radioactive hot zone. Casey points out that he has to deal with the bomb because it could cause New York city and all it's inhabitants (some of which are friends of theirs) to be blown off the map.

Chet, Spuds, Puke and Bubba go face the Turtles at the house. During the battle, Spuds and Puke grab April and Casey. Tie them up and put them in the back of the van carrying the nuke saying they would fry with the Mutant Scum living in the city.

The other Turtles race after the van in the Party Wagon, Donnie, Raph, and Mikey jump out of the party wagon and and into the van with the nuke. Raph to deal with Skonk and Spuds. Mikey and Donnie deal with Puke and Bubba as well as freeing April and Casey. Donnie tells Mikey to take April and Casey and get them to safety, he would try to defuse the bomb. Mikey, April, and Casey object but Donnie insists Raph gets Spuds out of the van, but Skonk shakes Raph off before he can get him out.

The Turtles and co quickly pile into the party wagon and race after the van. Skonk plows straight into mountain wall causing the bomb to explode destroying the van and himself. Everyone is horrified and thinks Donnie was killed in the explosion. However Donnie appears very shaken and badly banged up...but alive. He reveals he didn't disable the bomb, but removed the plutonium core at the last moment before jumping out.

Back at the farm house Casey tells everyone that Michael had explained everything to the police, Spuds, Chet, Puke, and Bubba and the other militia members were arrested.

Splinter goes up to Donnie's room to see how he's doing. Donnie insists he's fine, he just has trouble accepting this victory. While the out come was good, and the person at the head of it was a flawed individual. But he was still an individual who was doing what he believed was a greater good.
