I was at TRU earlier, and they had no new things besides the ooze. It was like 8 dollars though, which I think is ridiculous. For anyone who wants to just get the baby turtles inside, you can see which one is in the container very easily. The ooze is also very watery (not like gooey slime), so it will probably work well with the play sets, ooze figures, and ooze vehicles. I'll buy them if they ever go on clearance or are on sale, because in my opinion, 8 dollars is very expensive for some ooze.

I hope so, cause their prices are really getting out of hand. For example right now they are having a Lego "sale" online. All it is is a price decrease to MSRP.

Yeah, TRU's prices are pretty bad compared to other retailers, but TRU is the only place I can currently find anything TMNT, as my Walmart and Target and have been mostly sold out since Christmas.

I guess having gotten a ton of TRU coupons in the past few weeks has helped me to break down and buy 4 ooze canisters to get one of each of the baby turtles.
It was either that or let the coupons expire as there was really nothing else in my local TRU I was interested in.

It's quite surprising to see that each pf the four turtles follow the pattern the regular 2012 figures have. They're all colored in the skin tones of the regular figures and are actually all different sizes as opposed to just being slightly different sculpts with their weapons on their backs.

Mikey is smaller than the other three baby turtles again, Raph is bulkier, and Donnie is the biggest.

Now I just need to figure out what to do with four canisters of ooze...

Ok I work for tru, and can tell you what's wrong. People are photoshoping ”sale ads” to make any prices they want....I saw one from target for a lego death star for $75....really? A over $300 lego for $75? Not happening...so the company requires you have the paper ad in hand, unless its amazon.

Can i show my cellphone with an amazon.com page showing the item? That can't be faked, right? If they thought it were fake they could easily double check it on any computer or smartphone. Amazon even has an App where you can scan any barcode and it will show you the price they charge for the item.

TRU is overpriced, it's that simple. They need to price match or people will continue to "showroom" there and buy online. This is why Target is now price-matching to prevent "showrooming". I want TRU to stay in business, they are a company I have a lot of fond memories of. raising prices above your competitors is NOT a way to stay in business.

About the fake ads though, I agree, I read 4chan a lot and see people posting these fake coupons all the time. Not just for LEGO, or TRU items, but for ALL kinds of various stuff. Companies need to be more careful and educate their employees, but they should still price match real prices and make an effort to do so.

Not just that, but just wholesale assuming your customers are trying to rip you off is bad for business. Sure there are some idiots who bring in obviously low priced "ads" for things. I used to work in a grocery store where they showed us how to spot obvious counterfeit coupons....it's not that hard. Taking the time to verify rather than just saying, "NO THAT'S FAKE! GO AWAY!" is what really needs to happen. Happened to my mom using a legit coupon at Walmart. The cashier just didn't want to try and her rudeness led my mom to take her business to another Walmart that didn't just assume she was trying to rip them off.

I think I shall never feel the sweet oozeyness on my hands again or see the new baby turtles.

Hopefully I can also pick up a Metalhead, when they first came out I was thinking the turtle stuff was going to shelf warm and it did for a bit.

I don't know why people keep calling it watery. I bought them all(at somewhere between 6 and 7 bucks), and the stuff was slow to budge and thick. It had a slickness to it that was watery, I suppose, but mine? I had to wait 20 minutes for the chunk I was messing with to go through the pipe for the Secret Sewer Lair. On the other hand, it stays together well and peels off stuff readily, so there was no noticeable residue when I checked the pipe. Now, perhaps I somehow got a randomly different mixed batch, but it sure seemed like silver-blue Gak to me.

Maybe you got an faulty merchandise? all four in the review is very watery

I just noticed that the flingers figures are 6" scale! dang it.... I bought the launchin ooze mikey on ebay. It should come sometime next week. I'm hoping the head looks good on the original 2012 figure because the original head looks way too mean.

this have also been showed in this thread, the ooze figures heads are slightly smaller then the basic figures heads.

also, it wouldn't look good with a heavily stylized head on a very detailed body. Unless you basically re-tool the whole body to be as smooth an stylized as the ooze tossers heads.
