I love him! Easily the best out of the three, and his plant-tentical-thingys actually arnt flimsy like we predicted, playmates was smart to use hard plastic!
I love it, 10/10

Baxter looks like a slightly high quality McDonalds toy.

I'm just shocked how Leatherhead turned out. He actually is almost half as bad as the Kraang and that's really tragic for him. I'm still just happy that a new character somehow managed to be the best figure in the wave and beating two of the most famous and iconic characters in the turtles' universe. Snakeweed is the new rookie that can make miracles happen for new guys.

I found out why the new figures are so hard to find. I stopped by my TRU in Northwest Indiana last night. The shelves were fully stocked with TMNT, but not with any of the new figs. Fortunately, an employee who I have a good rapport with said they had one unopened case in the back. The case breakdown had:

One April
One Foot
One Splinter
One Shredder
Two Leatherhead
One Baxter
One Snakeweed
And the other sixteen were turtles

I was shocked to see the new figures are going to have this kind of rarity. Hopefully it's just for the beginning of the waive and they become more accessible going forward.

I opened 2 cases at a WalMart last night. Pretty much the same breakdown, except neither case had a Baxter in it. Both were replaced by Kraang....

I'm starting to notice here in Illinois that fish face is becoming harder to find.

That happend at the begining of the dogpound and fishface wave. It's pretty common, they just came out.

So the case contained no ooze turtles, no dogpound, no fishface, no metalhead. people who don't have any of these figures should be aware... and go buy those if they want them. it's hard to predict when they put them back in assortments. they may have been disappointed in how the ooze turtles sold and chose not to issue them again.

this assumes you mean the 16 were vanilla turtles. i could be reading you wrong

If they were any more Vanilla you could have made ice-cream with them. But yeah, just the original four turtles.

I'm really sorry that you were dissapointed by him so much ShredderX633...

Although, if you have a minute, I think you'll like mine.

The Ooze Turtles sold as well as they could have with the limited Ooze available in stores. I think they would have sold even better if Playmates had includes a little perfume sample sized vial of Ooze with each Turtle instead of the little plastic drops. Or just offered small Ooze booster vials for a dollar or two.

I'm mostly happy with every basic figure so far. I think part of that is my accepting the toys and the show as separate but equal worlds. Leatherhead on the show is awesome, but he was shown as being a young alligator so I'm treating the toy as a small, young mutant, just like the Turtles.

And his best friend and partner in crime is Al Negator.

Distribution must have changed.
The vanilla turtles, ooze dudes, Dogpound and Fishface are all over our local web based shops at UK cost price, and....
Just ordered Baxter and Snakeweed locally. $12 each inc postage.
No Leatherhead yet tho.

Absolutely. The Dogpound is a great figure, and is one of my favorites.

My local Toys "R" Us still doesn't have Snakeweed, Baxter Stockman and Leatherhead

:sighs: I became friends with the manger and she said that Monday they are suppose to get a shipment on Monday and she will ( supposedly) hold Snakeweed, Baxter Stockman and Leatherhead for me. I would go as early as I can but I have to work and I'm afraid they will be gone the minute they put on the pegs... I swear... it's like people seriously wait overnight for these figures, like waiting for a new game or movie that comes out.

They had a lot of the Flingers and Power Sound FX figures and very few of the Ooze Launchin' figures. Stupid question, but are the Ooze Launchin' figures part of the basic line or they considered variants ?

I would buy them online, but I can't see spending $30 - $40 dollars (plus shipping) for a 6 inch figure.

As anyone seen Rocksteady and Bebop in stores yet and does anyone know if they will come (like the four Turtles) with a personalized name sewer base ?

I love Dogpound and thus like the figure. My issue is that I want to have one that is MOC and whenever I see a Dogpound figure, the paint on the nose gets smudged on the bubble or the blister card is creased or damaged.

I have all the 2012 figures moc so far, except Dogpound, Fishface and Metalhead as the seller I bought them from saved me postage, by removing packaging.
At the time I got them, they were twice regular price. Sort of the way the current three are just now. So, I didn't care too much.
I might get these agin, to have a complete moc set of the base figures.
Tempted to actually get two of each, as I just checked on line, and sellers have loose figure's ( I found them all) at around $10 each ( good as it costs that gain to post from the US or UK). Oh, decisions!
Just spotted a question. Answer.
The ooze Flingers are listed on the Playmates site as regular. The Flingers, shell backs and talkers are all deluxe.
So far there are 19 regular figures and 13 deluxe and 2 regular size exclusive to vehicle sets. Hope this helps.
