Will have the answers to these questions on Monday.
Thanks for the update.

Got the rest of my months and months of comics out of my box at my shop.
Hit the back issue boxes as well and grabbed a few Eastman cover 2s and a RI cover.

And then I realized I picked up all the City Fall variants so I took that pic (just of the new issues, the Eastman cover 2s from issues 22 and 23 are not pictured)

Still building up to reading these books

So I recently picked up the more recent issues myself after taking a little hiatus from the comic, and it's been good so far.

This might not really be 'spoilery' or fan-theory but
Spoiler:
Kinda called Tang Shen being the one that will lead Leo back on the right path. Just goes to show that even in death, a mother's love is eternal. Splinter and the others shall certainly play a part as well. While I don't think it'll happen, it'd be nice if it'll be like in Tales of Leo from 2k3 where each reflect a personal tale that will ultimately bring him back to his senses instead of a coma in the next issue or at least the Northampton arc.

So I'm wondering about this Karai business. I think she's getting on grandfathers good side by bringing bebop and rocksteady into the fight and driving the turtles to Northampton by doing so, might cancel her plans to overthrow his ungrateful ass.

I still don't believe she was planning to overthrow him. She just doesn't like his choice of choosing Leo over her.

I don't think so either, if you look back at every comment I've made on this subject you'll see I've been saying exactly that for awhile. I was being slightly sarcastic, a lot of people on this site seemed pretty sure that she was gonna betray him, to the point where they said "when" and not "if".

I'm looking forward to Leonardo's internalization in coming issues. You know it has to bother him a lot that his mind had been tampered with the way it was.

I actually have a bunch of Eastman covers that I don't want. The uniformity of the santolouco covers in this arc is something I really like. I'll have to email heavy ink about that.

I have a LOT of speculations regarding the big pay off that's coming. The IDW team has done a great job on this particular arc. I never thought Karai was going to betray Shredder either-- I think the point of Rocksteady and Bebop was to provide an edge and put Karai back in Shredder's good graces. At this point, it seems that Alopex and Kitsune are going to make some sort of "Fox Alliance" which would kill the theory about her joining Hob's S.H.I.E.L.D. Mutanimals.

Did anyone else notice the subtle reference to the junkyard scenes in Secret of the Ooze? The only thing missing was Rahzar.

Alliances are changing, and quickly. I'm wondering how Hun is going to react to his son finally choosing to stand up to him-- while Casey's father is Hun, his promise to his mother to always protect his father is moot since now he must protect the city from his father. I have a feeling that the retreat to Northampton is going to be a fall-back for the sake of Leo's psyche, not for the sake of anyone's physical well-being, because I don't see Splinter or the turtles getting injured physically after all of the planning that has been done (but we'll see).

I am also thinking at this point that Hob is more complex of a character than even Splinter's philosophies give him credit for-- he and Slash could have just "gone away" instead of choosing to fight in this war that really for the most part doesn't concern them. Raphael keeps making underhanded comments about Hob being scum, and he just ignores them, while Splinter calls his methods "distasteful," but I would think that this Splinter is concerned enough with honor that if he really felt that way, he wouldn't have bargained with him in the first place-- they were already reunited one time after being executed by Shredder, so the powers that be seem to favor them to the extent that they don't really need Hob. Splinter just doesn't seem to want to admit that the end justifying the means seems to be a better way to go about things as opposed to living by a code of honor, since that's what got them all executed in the first place. But I'm sure there's evidence against some of the claims I'm making.

I still wonder if Woody is going to wind up becoming Mondo Gecko. I don't know why I keep thinking that, but I do.

I agree about Hob being complex. It reminds me of Slash in Archie and Bishop in the 2003 cartoon. Characters that are not neccessary primary players but have signifcant delopment and are underrated with true character depth and development from their respective backstories to what drives them to acti n the shades of gray opposed to flat out baddie they were originally labeled. His claims his motives to be to form a mutant alliance to take charge of the humans of New York City. It seems simple enough and not unlike a plot that say Baxter thefly would undergo or Rat King in attempt to make rat slaves of the human population. Yet there is more to it than what lies on the serface. We just don't know what it is yet even with his backstory given.

Woody=Mondo Gecko. The speculation has been around before but not something I would be guessing until Tom screams it in his writting. I have tried to speculate before and only thing I have been correct about is Slash entering the picture from Stockman's lab.

I missed the junkyard reference. The club and Ninja Rap in the latest episode of Nick's series I got but I totally missed it. I did get the "I Am You Father" vibe from the meeting the turtles and gang interupted however.

Keep up the analysis and speculation. I like to read your insight.

Does anyone think the Turtles will get away because Alopex wakes up and does something subversive? It would be the first useful thing she does!

Also do you think Splinter is going to realize that the guy he knocked out got killed when Hob and Slash blew up StockGen?

Check out the b cover!

Spoiler:

Pretty sure this is the first time we've seen KE draw Hun, Bebop, Rocksteady and even Slash. All in one kick ass wrap-around.

All the participants in the battle given the Eastman style tratment! Is this Kevin's first ever drawing of Bebop and Rocksteady? I will assume concept art for the toy but the characters beyond being designed I am inclined to think it is.

Wow, how much are the Jetpacks?

Guys, I find Eastman's art kind of sketchy and not that good... like he draws the Turtles well, but not really people... am I a horrible person?
