Well the great thing is Kraang Prime isn't a female, its just its VA is.

You keep missing the point, geez, what is wrong with you. Someone so obsessed with the OT should know what the big deal is. OT Chrome Dome wasn't some past character design that the lazy animaters grabbed and renamed. They didn't just grab Rex-1 or whatever and say 'this is a whole new character named Chrome Dome' and now everyone is going to pretend it's an all-new character and that you never ever seen Rex-1 before.

Hell, all it would have taken is Karai saying something like 'We created him to look like Bradford to explain his disappearance', and have the Turtles be like '...is that Chris Bradford?' Mikey totally would have called him the Bradfordbot or Cyber Rad Brad or something.

I get what you're saying, that he looked exactly like Chris Bradford's armor in episode 4.

But that's the point, the Kraang took an extensive Foot Armor and upgraded it with robotics since no human was inside.

How does that logic point to Rhazar? He's saying they used a previously existing model and made it a new villain. It's be like them taking Carlos Chang-Ghambe's model and making it a new Purple Dragon named Shawn.

More like Chris Bradford's character model outright..... NOONE HAS EVER USED THAT ARMOR BESIDES HIM. It's not Foot armor, it's HIS armor, unique to that one guy. It would excuseable if we saw a few more guys dressed like that running around, but no, that is Bradford's armor. It's a cheap and lazy copout. And I really hate how noone reacted to it. Not to mention he was supposed to be this episode's 'big bad new character'. Well, no, I saw this dude already in episode 4. They must have blown the whole budget on designing the hockey rink background and thought 'oh crap... how are we gonna afford a new CGI model for this episode.... oh wait.. what if... I'm sure noone will notice...'

Probably wouldn't think anything of it but since we got the Splinter scene with him in M.M.U. and some thinking he is playing the role closer to Shredder in the Casey/April/Donnie = Splinter/Tang Shen/Shredder arc, I can't help but think that these are warning signs of his character to come.

I'm having this theory too. But have you noticed that during the moments that Donnie really does need one of his brothers to be there for him, they are off in their own world.

It's a wonder he hasn't snapped yet.

True, but that can be explained that Baxter rebuilt it or something. A worse example would have been the Kraang pulled out a new alien from dimension X.... and it looked like the Stockmanpod.... That woulda been worse.

After all the talk regarding budget limitations that went on ciro nieli's interview, should we really still complain about reused models? I mean, yeah it sucks, but it really seems that they are doing their best to create as much content as they can with what they have available.

Common sense says save money on re-using the no-name characters like the blonde woman and 'that guy with the cat' and use that money to create all new bad guys. Especially when you want to make an episode about him and promote a toy about him.

I would have been nice to have Karai refer to it as a robot version of the elite guard as that is what it essentially is. Just as the foot solider robots are the robotic version of a foot solider in this version. Mike does not have to name everything. It is getting silly. It was funny at first but after awhile its run its course and trying to tie old characters names to something it has nothing to do with is unneccessary and keeps that character from actually being used. The dubbing official or unofficial of Chrome Dome is my only compliant of this episode.

I hope the robot suggest the usefulness of a human Chris Bradford. Its definitely an angle that has potential if Nick si willing to rotate the henchmutants.

How are you so sure about their intentions? Was it stated that they were going to make a toy out of it somewhere? Besides, we don't have any idea how much it costs to make these things, or if they were saving up for something else. We weren't there, and we can't talk to anyone for more information. IDK, I think these things are more complex than just saying 'they are lazy and reuse stuff'. I actually used to think like that, but I now realize that there are things they cannot control.

Kind of related, but we got two new locations on this ep (hockey arena and interior kraang lab). I think it'd be nice to have a list with all the sets that have shown up so far.

Yes, exactly, that's something I'm very glad about. There probably WILL be a Chrome Dome figure, and that means I'll be getting what is essentially a human Bradford. If anything, it might just need a little paint over the metallic arms.

Kinda don't see the point of naming it Chrome Dome if they're not gonna release a toy out of it. They could have just left the damn thing nameless.
