Absolutely loved this episode. It blew me away. I was shocked at how dark it was but that makes me love it even more. I expected I would hate Ice Cream Kitty but it was so well done I actually kind of like it. Mikey was also funnier than he has been in a long time during this episode, especially when he was yelling at the rat to smell the cheese and then he would punch it. I pretty much laughed every time he opened his mouth. Though when he was licking the kitty, that was a bit strange.
I think Irma is a really good character in this show. In the OT, I sort of liked her, sort of didn't, but now she's awesome.
Not much more to say. Epic episode.
Saw the preview for the next. I think I'm going to hate that episode, but then again, I thought I'd hate this one. This show always manages to blow my mind.

Also loved Casey trying to disguise voice around Irma while in costume.

This was an awesome episode, I loved it!!

Although the Ice Cream Kitty was really odd for me, I really loved the Rat King's comeback and Splinter's struggle with his mind control. The showdown between them at the end and the way Splinter was able to completely blind the Rat King was just amazing. One of the best endings to an episode we've had in a while and definitely one of the darker ones.

A few questions if they haven't already been answered (haven't time to read the whole thread yet):

Spoiler:

1. What kind of weapons does Casey have equipped on his bike? Pretty swell how he jerry-rigged a flame thrower and firework bombs onto that thing.

2. Was the Rat King's "Failed Experiment" some mutated human dude in a pit? That was so creepy, but I couldn't really make out much details. Anybody got a screencap?

3. When Irma pressed the button to try and free the cages, what were those pieces that dropped down into the big fan?

Really loved this episode; reminded me a bit of the classic "Wererats from Channel Six" with Casey taking Vernon Fenwick's role (never thought I'd see the day). Also, the ending was the most hardcore thing I've seen from this show yet. Just hated that Nick kind of killed some of the suspense by rolling the credits over it. I'm always surprised with Nick TMNT episodes that don't feature any cool-down epilogues. Good to see they are beholden to the same formula in every episode.

Poor Irma ALWAYS gets kidnapped by the Rat King, lol.

I wonder if Casey may have overcome his fear in this one, I mean THAT MUCH exposure therapy has to be good for something right? I enjoyed him taking out his frustration on that huge rat at the end.

I also find it appropriate that Ice Cream Kitty's name creates the acronym "Ick." It's kind of cute, but definitely icky...

I just finished watching it, really good episode. I love Irma more and more everytime I see her...and I think I know why...she's like a female version of Don Splinter was really awesome in this episode, I loved his struggle with the RK and how he defeated him, and seeing him go evil is always cool and interesting. Mikey and ICK are adorable :theart: ICK is pretty cool, I like that Mike used him as the secret weapon. April and Casey were cool, too. I hope Irma appears more and eventually meets the turtles. I could keep rambling but all in all, I really liked it. Favorite line: "I need some ice for my head...and maybe a cheese-sicle"

I feel sorry for this episode...it's TOTALLY gonna get overshadowed by the mid-season finale since it aired on the same day!

Anyhow, I LOVED This Episode. It's in my Top 10 of the entire Series!

Wow, just wow. Splinter is such a powerhouse. Yeah, Dangermouse ain't got nothing on this guy. Where do I start? My sweetheart and I both enjoyed ICK very much. She def went to town on RK. My favorite line is a tossup between Splinter's sendoff to the Rat King and Mikeys,"Smell the cheese! Smell it!," as he beat the mess out of one of those giant rats. And yes, loved the blind fighting! For... obvious reasons. lol

Been wondering when we were going to see Irma again. Lovin her 2012 incarnation. And how bout that failed experiment? Did it expire or is there a chance we'll be seeing Mr. Cheeseaholic again? At least I think it was a Mr. Loved Rat King naming his rats after Roman rulers. I think all of them were Roman. Only saw the ep once. Anywho, goes along nicely with his massive eago. I agree with those of you who made the observation about cartoon villains almost always returning after falling great distances. I'd say it's a safe bet we'll be seeing RK again. Maybe he pulled out the 2012 version of his royal rathook during the fall. Or he might have landed in some randomly placed Disneyish ginormous pie?(See Dumbo) Maybe fell on some old trampoline a homeless guy was using as a bed? Kidding aside, can't wait to see him again some day. I feel like Ralph Wiggum who posed a particular question in a certain Simpsons episode. "Was Mr. Rat King ok?" haha Fantastic episode and looking forward to Wormquake!
