Guys i'm really dissapointed in the marketing, i mean really? another image of april? one thing i gotta give to guardians is at least they show the main characters? why do they keep giving us images of april!?!? i wanna see the damn Turtles!! the only images we get of the Turtles are leaked!!

Wheres that damn Trailer!?!

Yeah, I am super excited for this movie...but the TURTLES should be the main characters. This is not Transformers!

Now this worries me I don't want April to be the focus of the movie I like many others Pay to see Tmnt They deserve all the praise all the focus everything it should be about them It's cool if April hangs out with them from time to time that's fine but just don't do it please still excited though

relax guys, The turtles will be main characters. They are keeping them under wraps to build the hype. It's working because a lot of people including myself are on edge waiting to see some new footage. As much as I want to see new stuff I hope they don't spoil to much by showing to much.

That's like if a Spider-Man movie was promoted mainly with images/footage of Aunt May. You don't have to give everything away - just make sure the audience knows that they're actually getting what the name promises.

Making money doesn't automatically mean it's a "good thing" for the franchise/concept or its fans. Especially when that means making the title characters secondary in their own movie.

I disagree. we know spiderman is going to be someone in a spider costume. We've gotten glimpses of what the turtles are going to look like and sound like. We don't know yet how they fight and interact with each other. The element of surprise is still a factor and their approach shows that.

Remember the 1990 movie? The first couple of scenes was focused on april, when she got in trouble we saw raphs sai, then we heard them fighting, as they're walking in the sewer we hear them celebrating. Right before leo jumps on screen it freezes as the title appears building more suspense.

There is a method to the madness it's been proven to work already.

just because it made money doesn't mean people are happy with it or accepted it

i may enjoy the movies but im still annoyed Shia,Fox,and the humans are the main cast in a movie called TRANSFORMERS

i skip all those scenes when i rewatch them

ive said it before..did you know there is ONLY about 30 minutes of solo transformers footage across 3 movies..and hour total including with people


do you really want 10 minutes worth of solo turtles in this

consider 3 are captured for who knows how long ,and raph and fox share together screen time...plus all the human characters we have to meet you really think we are going to get an hour long turtles only movie

Really? transformers have been relevant for the past 10 years, movies, merch, and series after series of cartoons.

I can't tell you how much it irritates me when people act like money isn't the purpose of the making movies, cartoons, ect.

Ok so the transformers are secondary characters, please tell me why this franchise is on it's fourth movie installment?

Regardless of how you feel about transformers, it serves it's purpose because people are spending their money to see it. Why change a formula that works? again they make movies to make money not to give nerds the satisfaction of saying it's "true to source material."

I caught it, but bottom line is they have a formula that works why mess with it. What your saying is all hypothetical, because I've explained why I feel like they are going the rout they are going for the TRAILERS to maintain an element of surprise. To sit here and debate about "what ifs" would be pointless and would go on forever.

Oh and Boston, if people aren't happy with it why does it continue to fill seats up at the movie theatre?

Again, yea some hardcore fans are un-happy with it, but when you have millions of people world wide spending there money on the movie and things related to it why change?

The purpose of making a movie is to generate profit! If they are making Billons of dollars, they are doing what they set out to do! If people are unhappy they wouldn't spend money on it.. please argue these points.

I can understand why the humans were the main focus in the TF movies, call me crazy but i thought Shia was pretty funny, i think the TF were more expensive, every second of screen time counts, TMNT on the other hand has no damn excuse!!! some would say their keeping the Turtles under wraps?!? how come we knew how Groot was going to look nearly a a year and a half before GOTG!?! i think we got are first look at him in like july 2013, we even got that concept art in 2012! Why can't we get a single clear look at the Turtles!?!?!?! we already know how they look by seeing the trailers! this movie has one of the worst marketing i've ever seen on a CBM, Don't get me wrong april has a big role in TMNT, but it's called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Not "How April O'neil Encountered The Turtles' at first i thought the CG was unfinished but now that's no excuse! In TASM promos we saw how the LIzard looked and that CG was unfinished!

you really never read any transformer reviews have you, sure they make money...doesn't mean they are well received..there are thoudands of factors that could lead to huge box offices for whatever movie and it still be panned all around

i've voiced my concerns and i hope i am wrong, but everything i've seen so far points to "April the movie with guest appearance by the ninja turtles"


i and others have stated my reasons and spoken our arguments and i really don't feel like it anymore so i will just say this

If people were unhappy about the first movie why did they go back and see the second...and the third?? And the franchise has made SO MUCH DAMN MONEY!!! And people will be going back to see the fourth. Sounds like they did something right that the fans accepted...just saying

Your comparing one strategy to another. GOTG have to try a different strategy because I feel that franchise isn't as popular as TMNT that's why they have to show more to get people interested.

Calm down guy, I want to see more as well but the fact that we are on the edge of our seat waiting for this trailer they are doing their job.
