Well, my point is that it is in character for Leo to disobey Splinter, especially when he thinks it's for a good cause.

And I agree with that. Leo has bad habit doing what he wants and he expects his brothers to follow along and if they don't he does it anyway.

He wanted to save Karai because he believed it was the right thing to do, even though Splinter had told him not to do anything that would bring harm to Karai or the Turtles.

Earth to Leo, he's not saying "Don't rescue Karai" he is saying you are making this a conquest of vengeance and the results would lead to disaster.

I'm starting to wonder if something bad needs to happen to at least one of his bros before he realizes that he really doesn't listen to or trust his brothers.

I've relooked at the chemical that stockman accidentally knocked into the the snake formula. I don't think it was Retromutagen, because the retromutagen was a dark orange, and the chemical that was dumped in was closer to yellow.

Epic episode, and a fitting ending for this season.

It was great to see Karai finally rescued, and in seems as she and Tiger Claw has a bit of a grudge.

It was interesting to see how she wanted vengeance on the Shredder, but she was foolish to go alone, after all, (as shredder said) she was trained by the one she sought to strike down, and if she couldn't beat Tiger Claw, she could not defeat Shredder! It's like a level one character trying to take down a level one hundred boss, it is impossible!

Aw, and when Karai was mutated....... So sad! I almost cried! I hope she is unmutated soon, that was soo sad. But I'm sure great stories will come through such a vital plot point!

Can't wait for season 3! When is it anyways?

Well, the second season ends in August, but I can't remember when the third premieres (I'm not even sure if they said an exact date) but I'd assume this fall, just like the first two seasons. Probably the end of September or mid October.

It was from some article posted in the "Official Info Thread" that stated that they're wrapping things up in Season 2 on June 29th, but apparently, that was a mistake.

Nah, there was an article posted which talked about Seth Green voicing Leo, a fourth season being ordered (with only 20 episodes) and S2 wrapping up in August. You can probably find it in the official info thread somewhere, but it was posted at least 2 weeks ago, I think.

Cool. I saw that. That article said S2 was ending June 29th which was later said to be a mistake. The last I saw from that article was that it ends later in the summer with no specific date given.

yeah, I love when Raph has a motorcycle... He was my first crush (this is sad).

When the red sky episodes first came on I was so excited because
1) Raph actually got hurt!
2) April changed Clothes
3) Raph got a Motorcycle!

But I stopped watching when they started turning into the ugly mindless beasts!
Anyway, I liked The motorcycles Tiger claw and Company drove...

Plenty... it reveals that you judge a "book by its cover" or in your case, a movie by its trailers and clips, and hold those previews alone as the assessment in making that movie your most favorite TMNT movie against watching the other full-length TMNT movies. In other words, the storywriting for the 2014 movie can be banal and atrocious for all we know (or it could be good), but apparently that doesn't matter since you've already declared it as your favorite TMNT movie before the movie has been released.

So therefore if you're judging your favorite TMNT movie by the clips alone, rather than it's full content, it's not going to make people put a lot of weight into your opinions in general, especially with it mentioned over and over and over again within every post, due to your signature.

Incredibly weak characterization? What exactly were you expecting then? Regression of character for Leo? Really? Consider his feelings for Karai, it seems like an understandable reason as to why he would so inclined to do so. Besides, maybe Leo wanted to impress Splinter perhaps? Plus, I thought "we" were accepting that these Turtles were behaving like teenagers now, so now that he does, the fans get upset with it? Okay...

Well at least you explained your approach (from watching the Legend of Korra), and I have to give credit for that.

Kind of glad this is the last episode for a while.
Maybe by the time the show comes back I'll have forgotten how inconsistent the show has become and can enjoy it again.

I know you won't be satisfied plastroncafe until this show has a 50:50 ratio of males to females in this show, but at least this episode substantially expanded on Karai's character by exploring her relationships with Shredder, Splinter, and her own temperament (her life of revenge). So before we start fixing our cynical targets on Karai's mutation, can we at least enjoy the moment that she was made the focus of this episode, and qualitatively improved her character depth? Or give credit to the storywriting to the relationship twist with the mutation? In which her mutation makes her have an instinctive predatory animal inclination against Splinter which diametrically opposes the daughter-father relationship she had just developed with him.

Now if she's as mindless as your fears seem to project in subsequent episodes, then we'll worry about it.
