I really like when they bring back the older characters, especially when they put their own spin on them.

I understand when people nag about characters that are used which are carbon copies of the original, but how many characters have they done that with so far in this version? Splinter, maybe? Who else is there?

Heck, even the turtles themselves have a different twist on them. Keeping original, yet still being faithful is a very hard line to stay on, the show so far has done a very nice job of that so far.

Not really. It's doing an OK job, but it could be so much better. Lately, when I watched the show, I've been bord with it. It's either, too predictable and I know what's going to happen, or they are making the characters too extreme to the point where I'm not sure if I like them anymore.

Honestly, even Splinter is a pretty original version in this show. I mean, Karai is probably the biggest change in the whole show if we're talking original characters.

It would make sense. If the shell easier really is destroyed there goes a good chunk of the intro, Leo's scene, Donnie's scene, a couple action shots. Also shredders getting more henchman, karais no longer one of his, I think Casey and April Have earned a bit more than a 1 sec appearance, and spike is no longer spike, so Raphs scene

Yeah an new intro that adapts to the dramatic changes in the series would make sense, because so far it has only slightly changed in appearance (seconds of character addition) but nothing major, And especially if the shellraiser does get destroyed it would look a bit odd afterwards

I am also annoyed about your constant nagging for triceratons for no particular reason. lol. The show is not called Teenage Mutant Space Triceratons, the show is not about them thus there is no importance in their appearance.

People need to realize while this is a NEW TMNT cartoon, the people that work on it, particularly Ciro, are obviously fans of the OT and use it as influence along with the Mirage comics. The same can be said of the IDW comics. The kids that grew up with the original TMNT cartoon are now grown up and working on TMNT themselves and want to come with new interpretations of characters they remember liking as well as making new characters alongside them.

They're doing their own takes on things, their own spin on characters, everything. Fans complain if they use new characters, change an existing character, or use a character from the OT. It seems nothing ever satisfies them.

It all again comes down to, this is a cartoon for kids, to sell toys, to sell video games, to sell MERCHANDISE. Not to appease full grown adults. They have given adult fans nods in everything from the Retro Turtle toys, to the clothing and other various merchandise. The reintroduced characters from the OT in the Nick toon can even be considered nods to the adult fans, though it seems it has had the opposite effect in that people are complaining about such things.

I dunno. Just my thoughts on things. I personally don't mind seeing new incarnations of characters in the Nick show. Much like the IDW comics, I find it interesting to see what other peoples' takes are of characters I remember from the OT and stuff. The show itself is still good, and the OT characters tend to be minor in appearance, so it doesn't detract anything that is going on the show otherwise.

Also, in closing...that new Turtle Van. *squeeee* Love it.

Do you guy's think Leo will be going solo next season since he leaves the team in the season final? I don't se him with the guy's at all, it'd be intresting if that's the case.

I'd love it if Donnie was saying my baby over his technology instead of April but

Why does he leave the team? I thought the summary was he made a critical mistake and got separated from the team. If Leo does leave the team, I am guessing he is gonna be the annoying, whiny spoiled brat who has a fit since things don't go his way for the first time after a lifetime of things always going in his favor. I dislike how Leo thinks he has it tough, just so ungrateful.

Yeah I think if April was in trouble Donnie would jump into action a little more than standing there and shouting out about it so probably the shellraiser most likely, Also Leo may be with the rest but just completely out of it from being beaten so bad and resting up or under care or something for a while at the farmhouse, Who knows maybe He could lay in the bath like raph in the first movie
