i've loved their chemistry in the films the first and 2007 movie.
as well as the 2003 series.

its a simple desire. and in the few episodes i do see those two interact well together. i just want a serious brotherly heart felt ep with them a lil drama, a lil comedy and a lil more light on the two.

but thats just me. to me those two have always been best friends. even mikey's understanding gets me when he told raph in the break out ep "the heart's a soft muscle, the soft muscle does squish" or whatever the line. which, shows mikey knows more than he lets on and does show wisdom. i always got the feeling mikey in the end would be there for don if and when don is heartbroken by april's chosing of casey.

again, its just me, being a don/mikey fan.

I think the main reason we see this Donnie Mikey thing is because when raph and Leo fight, there's not much else for them to do besides hang with each other.

Like the 2 examples you said, the first movie and 2007 movie, both of those plots revolved around Leo and raph, so naturally Donnie and Mikey are going to be shown together. Even with parts of 2k3 as well

In an interview didn't they say he'd be getting an episode that showed why he is the way he is next season?

HA Funny though, a lot Raph fans complain about his screen time getting stollen in the TV series while in the new flick the others get jack. I was really looking forward to it too, hopefully finally for a film to get Leo to shine but no! Raph steals Leo's plot even. Come on, Leo the leader getting caught by Shredder? If any thing this film should be like the 2007 flick that both of them get share fair amount of focus. Than maybe the next couple of flicks star the other turtles slowly.

Way I figure is, at least Leo fans have the shows

The other films were like one Turtle gets captured or seriously injured and the other three have to mount a rescue.

That's what's annoying in my opinion, at least wait till the second or third film to do this. This one should have showed them all off and why Leo's the leader.

Hell, Raph was the one to be injured or captured in the first two movies. In hindsight, that's actually pretty refreshing - it gave the others a little extra spotlight that they wouldn't necessarily get otherwise.

Also: somehow just noticed that every TMNT movie has one or more of the main characters captured or incapacitated. Splinter captured and Raphael incapacitated in TMNT, Raph captured in TMNT II, Mikey captured in TMNT III, Leo captured in TMNT 2007, and now apparently everyone but Raph captured or incapacitated in BayTurtles.

They didn't say he was definitely coming back when a fan asked about him. They played coy and said they were big fans and didn't want to spoil any reveals. They also said he wouldn't be FishFace double mutated.

I wouldn't mind if Tokka was a zoo animal mutated, that's what they were in other versions.

I guess they probably can't resist making an episode with Slash and Tokka fighting, especially since Slash might become a good guy in this show while Tokka I assume would be evil.

Ah and I always thought to myself if they brought Tokka into this show it should be Xever getting double mutated into him so Tokka and Rahzar could be a team.. so there goes that theory. I just hope they don't turn Slash into Tokka somehow cuz that would be lame...

Obviously not and that would make no sense. How would a mutant turtle mutate into...another mutant turtle?

Plus its obvious the idea of Slash and Tokka fighting is too good to pass up. Most likely Slash will turn good (he's already an anti-hero now), and fight Tokka who will likely be mutated by the Foot.

And then later when Donnie's trying to figure it out Leo plops down next to him and gets on his case about the fact he hasn't defused it yet. Heck in that same episode Leo pulls rank on Donnie when he wants to leave Mikey with him.

In 2k3 the other Turtles would let Donnie do what he needed to due no pressure. The only times they did start pressuring him was when he was cutting things a little to close for their comfort level.

I think it was in Turtle Temper, I did like it when Donnie got pissed at Leo when he realized that they could have been using Raph at that moment, if Leo hadn't chased him away!

not just because these are my two favorite turtles, but its something thats been done very little, and when it has, from what ive seen, its not blown up to much

But the sad thing is, it's simply not true. The only thing Raph replaced was the Leo arc. Whoopie do! Everything else was pretty much spread even to be honest. And I can't say for sure who the main character is going to be in the new movie. They are showing an awful lot of Leo and Mikey. Sadly, I'm pretty sure Donnie is going to get the most shaft in this.

But I guess I will rest. If this show goes on for 4 to 5 years, who knows, sometimes the best episodes come in late, and maybe us Mikey and Raph fans will finally get the episodes we deserve. What with Bebop and Rocksteady coming, as big as these guys are, they are going to definitely need Mikey's speed and agility and Raph's power and street smarts for those two. And I'd love to see Mikey do a version of Turtle Titan and Raph his Nightwatcher. Maybe they can collaborate on the side!

We'll also eventually get an Irma meets the Turtles, curious how that is going to play out. I still have feeling the tea time girl will become someone in the future, maybe we will get Angel finally, or maybe Tyler or someone similar to Keno, characters that played well off of Mikey and Raph.
