Well, now that the leak is proven to be correct, with little room for discussion, I wonder if it was really the full roster? If it is I'll say I'm very satisfied with additions (and cuts because f*ck Wolf) but no Rhythm Heaven rep is my one regret. The 3DS stage leak didn't seem to include a stage either, so all my hopes lay with the Wii U version.

Apparently All star mode was still locked, so some are speculating a few more characters might be in, pics of Impa and Wolf (yes yor fav character

) have been shown, but they could be fake

Don't talk about the All-Star mode locked sh*t. That's the biggest load of nonsense wishful thinking I've seen since the leak. It makes zero sense.

Also, that "video" is just a combination of "known" fake pictures from imgur.

I am just saying what I have read up on, Overal I am happy with the roster. A few for me are hit and miss, but Duck Hunt Dog being in , is mind blowing

There are probably at least one or two more characters not in that final roster. I also fail to believe Sakurai would just cut Ice climbers, Wolf, Lucas out of the blue when he already cut Snake, Squirtle and Ivysaur.

Sakurai said he wanted to make as little cuts as possible, so cutting 6 characters all with unique movesets makes no sense. I figure the two pokemon and Snake were the only sensible cuts.

... But Lucas is a clone of Ness. He had no unique moveset. I'm glad to see him go - one Earthbound character is enough, especially when Lucas was just a clone.

If the Ice Climbers are cut, I think it's because of the 3DS, and if that is the case then Sakurai lied. He said the 3DS would not affect things, but we have already lost transformations. Maybe the 3DS can't handle so many models on screen at ones.

I jdo find it so odd that the Ice climbers Lucas and Wolf are cut, since he's Sakurai fav Star Fox character, and he loves the Earthbound series and personally made sure Lucas made brawl.

It's well established that Sakurai likes the Star Fox series. Even the new Kid Icarus game started life as a Star Fox game, before he thought Kid Icarus would work better with the mechanics used. And it's also well known that Falco was originally intended to be Wolf in Melee, but Sakurai chose Falco because he's more aesthetically different to Wolf.

He also considered dropping Ness from Melee and adding Lucas in his place. His team Hal Laboratory helped develope some of the Mother games.
