Season three we are going to be dealing with emotional issues, Leo's and Donnie's in particular, they will be like a walking time bombes, ready to go off at any moment. Ontop of that, once they let the cat out of the bag about April, well we already knew Mikey's response, he pretty much blamed her for it. Raph, boy if Donnie thought Mikey was being harsh on April for that, we are going to be seeing major fire works here

Don't know about Leo's reaction, will he be ticked? Maybe just try to drop the issue and move on and act like nothing was said? Or even just kick April out?
Well, to be honest, I really can't see this show dwell for too long on the emotional issues. Maybe 4 episodes tops, since in the end, the show is still watched by little kiddies, and if it gets too serious, they just might bail.

Well, after we have seen the season 2 finale, now is the perfect time to start mixing things up. Since Raphael is the one who sees his brother come flying through the window, and then stands back helplessly while watching his mentor getting beaten by the Shredder, now is the perfect time for Raphael to have the vendetta against the Shredder. I say Raphael over Donnie and Mikey who also were witnessing these things, is because Raphael is the one most likely to harbor on those angry feelings, and use it as some sort of revenge. Also, it's interesting to note, he was the one out with Casey Jones trying to find Karai, so his loyalty to his family is strong, even family members he's not too sure of.

Another story arc for Raph, would be the Purple Dragons could start to become a major threat, and perhaps Casey's little sister gets mixed up in it (she could be Angel) and Raph gets involved in that storyline, since the Purple Dragons are more his type of fight, the street brawlers.

When the Triceratons come, what with Mikey good at figuring out alien like creatures, not to mention in the comics, he had some sort of a fling with one, he would be the most logical one to have him centered around the Triceratons.

I don't know why, but I keep feeling that Donnie is going to be the one thrown into the Earth Defensive Force fiasco. If Biship does indeed show up, it could be him and Donnie that have the battle of the wits. And I wouldn't mind that at all.

Leo, no matter what, I still think he's going to have the core episodes with Splinter and Karai, but, I wouldn't mind the creators bring back the little tea time girl, maybe make her into a fleshed out OC for the show that he takes under his wing in time. (Come on, this would be so cute, to see him train the little girl to be a Ninja Master, and it would be right up his alley. Who knows, maybe striking up a friendship with her and training her might help him come over his feelings of being crushed by The Shredder.

Now, a little off topic, I wonder what Casey will think of April when he finds out she has some Kraang DNA in her. I wonder which Turtle will spill the beans on that subject. And what was with Kirby's facial expression when he was hiding his head in his lap, he looked out with one eye in some sort of sinister fashion. Wouldn't it be hilarious, if he wasn't even April's dad, but someone else the whole time.

And I hope Irma is real. Maybe when the gang heads back to NYC, and April and Casey go back to school, they are brought into the principles office where they show surveilance video of the real Irma getting kidnapped outside a store by some Kraang Droids, shortly after April and Casey left her to go do something with the Turtles. Now, April has to get the Turtles to agree to try and find where Irma is and rescue her.

Another thing I would like to see more of, that I noticed. Raphael almost always gives Leo and Splinter a hard time when they take charge and tell him what to do. When Donnie took charge of everything, Raphael didn't even bat an eye. I wonder if this means he has a bit more respect for Donnie than he does Leo when it comes to this kind of thing? And, I'm curious, he has already told Casey that he's uneasy about Casey making hits on April because of how Donnie feels about her. I wonder if he might just had it up to his neck with April's constant flirting with both guys and say something to her about it.

And, I wonder what April might do if she sees those pics on Casey's phone of his artwork of her, plastered on a public wall. Raph thought it was kind of creepy on Casey's part to be drawing suggestive pics of April, what would April herself think about this?

I didn't get the impression that Raph thought Casey's art was creepy. Seems it was more like, "What are you doing, we have stuff to do." And his "Yeah right" was in response to Casey's denial of liking April.

It really wasn't creepy or tasteless.

Well, I disagree. And it was creepy and tasteless. Just like Donnie and his board .

How was it tasteless? April wasn't depicted in scantily clad clothes or anything.

He said he didn't like April, yet to Raph, the drawing clearly showed that he does, hence Raph's reaction. The simplest explanation for a minor subplot is usually the right one...but one could still be mistaken.

It's like the Harry Potter stuff. Some people felt early on that JKR was hinting at Ron x Hermione, but some felt it was a red herring because of how the main plots were written. Romance was a subplot and pretty straightforward.

Well, the whole painting April on the side of a public wall as graffiti for starters. That was not only tasteless, but kind of stupid, considering they were supposed to be keeping a low profile, and here he is, drawing himself with the hockey mask and April with her signature shirt, pretty much shouting out to all who were looking for them " I WAS HERE!"

And I can't buy that nobody knows that Casey likes April. It's obvious, especially since both he and Donnie fight all the time. The brothers know why they fight. I'm just surprised that Raphael didn't give Casey more beef when Casey started to ask him about April asking about him. So surprised Raph didn't spout "what am I, Dear Abby?"

And seriously, with all of the sh!t that I wrote up there, you were only concerned on the one thing you disagreed on?????? WTH?

Obviously I agreed with everything else. I felt you were wrong with the last and took it out of context.

I still think April is going to be going through his phone one day, and see the pic, and she might think it kind of weird that he took the time to paint a giant mural on the side of a building of her and him. Kind of obsessive there, what, with him always hitting on her, and then the one time his mind was in her body and he was grabbing it all, I dunno, he just comes off as a pervert to me, whereas Donnie, he has issues with his dealings of April, but at least he has the fact that April was pretty much the first girl he has every come in contact with, so he is still working out the kinks. The only other girl he's had contact with was Karai, and she was at first trying to kill him. Doesn't exactly beef up his confidence. We could have had a friend in Irma (I know I know, wishful thinking here that he might still meet the real Irma who is kidnapped for now) but again, that storyline is either dead, or going to be sitting out on the back porch for a bit.

What makes graffiti any more tasteless than some other form of art? It's often beautiful & awe-inspiring. If you had mentioned her pose being somewhat suggestive, I'd give you that, but you seem to be knocking the art form exclusively... & as for the pose, I don't think anyone should make a fuss over it considering the entire piece was an obvious nod to Mark & Vaughn Bode's work, which is awesome.

Totally agree. Haven't y'all heard of Banksy? His graffiti art is internationally influential and AWESOME.

I'd like to post my own predictions for season 3 but everyone has basically said everything that could logically be said. Anything beyond this is speculation.

I'm almost upset that they posted the ep early online because now it's an even LONGER wait for season 3. And this wasn't a closed ending. It's VERY open and up for discussion and so much could happen I need canon to set my mind straight again.

I agree with you on this. Kirby has one line where her says "You're supposed to be here here with me." So perhaps there was more to his brainwashing for season one or his first mutation in season two.

And of course when he breaks down he says "We're doomed! Doomed! Oh my poor sweet April!"

But in the Gauntlet when he's being rescued he throws himself into danger to buy the Turtles time to escape and says "Save my daughter and the city."

So wouldn't he show the Turtles his 'Party Wagon' from the beginning of the invasion and told them to get April out of the city as soon as they could.

Perhaps he planned sacrificing the Turtles to the Kraang or the Shredder in exchange for April. Or he blamed the Turtles on all that has happened.

I think the premiere description looks like it's going to continue Donnie's "Everyone around me is getting hurt, I'm a terrible leader." arc.

I'll give a cliif notes version what I think will happen in Episode 1 - I'll put it spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the finale yet.
Spoiler:
Shredder and Kraang will learn the Turtles are gone, and claim their conquering of NYC

Upon arriving at Northampton, Donnie can't accept the fact that they're here because of him, and leaves them to head in the woods trying to clear his mind.

Raph vents at Donnie leaving, but April tells him to let him go and they'll look for him later after they give him time to grieve.

Mikey *Remembering Donatello's reaction from finale* believes that Leo's condition and their big defeat under Donnie's helm is too much for his brother to handle, and that he feels responsible for everything that has happened. April feels horrible because she feels she's responsible for everything that happened.

The group spilts up to find Donatello. Casey gets ambushed by "The Creep" while looking for him.

Raph's the one who finds Donnie, they have their brother on brother talk. Raph learning how to converse with Donnie being Donnie's the leader, yet at the same time, Donnie's still his little brother *Or I guess "younger brother" really*

The Creep jumps them both. Take them both out, taking Raph.

Mikey and April find Donnie after the attack. Donnie gets more upset that he's lost another brother at his lead. Gets a reality check from Mikey & April, saying they still believe in him.

Donnie's plan works and they save Casey & Raph.

Donnie learns from Raph that he can be a good leader, and perhaps learns that there was nothing that be done to stop the Invasion from happening, but that them staying alive allows them a chance to still win in the end.

True, but overall it is still wrong no matter how nice it is.

That reminds me of Boondocks. A good episode. Riley was going around doing graffiti in his neighborhood. Found out it was him and as a punishment, they made him start studying art with an art teacher who was obviously a caricature of Bob Ross with the way he spoke and looked. I'm almost certain Rob Paulsen was voicing him.

Anyway, he joined up with Riley and encouraged him to spray paint the houses but the art was stunning. He told Riley not to sign his name though. The people of the neighborhood thought it was really nice and he said he did it but no one believed him, even his own grandfather.

Bob then suggested that for that night that Riley paint something that means a lot to him or of someone who is no longer here. He went to get a photo and it was a wedding photo of his grandfather and deceased wife. He painted on his grandfather's house. It brought tears to his grandfather's eyes and the neighbors once again were in awe. He took a photo.

The moment then ended and told Riley to clean the mess up and use paper like everyone else.

I didn't say Donnie would be all rage " I want to kill Shredder! " But he will be going through guilt / depression / regret for what happened to Leo. Basically, hey'll be stealing Raph's arc from the One shot Leo page. I mean he does have more of a reason right now to feel that over Leo than Raph sadly, I hope he doesn't even think once about April x Casey bits and just focus on that situation, it's more important and would be a great change for Donnie.

I have a feeling Raph will be more angry over the information that will likley be leaked from Mikey over what April's done, guilt from not being here for
Leo when he needed to be and anger towards April for well yah know.

It's not that Raph listens to Donnie, it's just that they were in a crises situation. I think he listened to Leo in the season one final too.

I realized, in the last episode, Raph and Leo had like 0 communication. That's gotta suck for Raph, knowing he never really got to talk to Leo before his beat down. I hope when Leo heals and all, he gets past his bitterness and lets down his guard to once in a while horse around, and even hug his tough brother Raph once in a while!
