Snake is actually a good reference for what I am talking about. As a 12 year old boy he must be amongst the youngest posters on the site, if not the youngest. He can tell us how much he identifies will Leo maturing as this season goes on (if indeed that happens). I will also ask my 9 year old cousin - it's good to get a view from younger people.

Thanks. As Leo's voice changes, mine does as well. (slightly)

I remember those days. The voice will break faster than you expect

Seriously though, I haven't posted that much in the Nick section but if this season/future seasons shape up the way I think they will that may change. So keep us updated on how your own growing up mirrors their own.

If they do grow them up a bit like that...

D'awww... *dies of the cuteness*

Granted those can be trying and 'traumatizing' years so I can only say that now with a dose of amnesia since it was so long ago. lol

Haha yes. I'm actually only a few years younger than you, but I can remember much of my adolescence quite well, strangely.

We were talking about these storyboards, weren't we? Because apparently Ciro confirmed that they're fake.

Funny, the voice he's using right now already sounds like a mature Chris Griffin to me.

I am so glad now that Family Guy never appealed to me and I don't have to try to not hear another character...

I really like his voice. I think its really perfect for the new arc they're entering. I almost wish Seth voiced him from the start. I don't even hear Chris Griffin, I hear Joker from ME.

But really, its just starkly different. I'm sure in a few episodes it'll grow on more people.

Seth Green's voice is soooo out of place. His boring normal voice sounds like badly dubbed anime that doesn't sync up to Leo's lip movements (Why are his lines, only his lines, LOUDER?) and, sometimes, like a constipated dragqueen. It's horrible and even mentioning the voice change was stupidly carried out.

Seth doesn't sound like Chris Griffin at all when he does Leo's voice. When he does Chris's voice, the pitch is higher and definitely different. With Leo, his voice is deeper and gruffer sounded with some softer intonation at some points like when he said, "I'm going back to the farmhouse in case Raph comes back. It's not like I'll be much use out there anyway." And I loved the part where he's struggling to get up while holding his swords. Seth did an awesome job with that dialogue.

Cubed, you are an idiot but I expect nothing less from someone like you. Just go away.

I was kinda disappointed with this episode, and I can't really pinpoint why.
Maybe I expected the season premiere to feel less than a MOTW than it felt here. I think I expected something a little deeper, more character-oriented.

I was a little surprised that Leo could jump on the Creep when he could barely walk moments earlier, or that Raph could turn back from a flower to full-on turtle just by injecting back mutagen (granted, I realize this was taken from the Bloodsucker SL, but it wasn't really well done). Some parts were too rushed for my taste.

Apart from it there were some great points. The whole "horror" atmosphere was very well done, a good rendition of Friday 13th/Halloween, etc. The beginning was great too, with Raph holding Leo's vigil, Mickey feeding the chickens, Casey working on a truck, and April writing in her notebook.

I like Seth Green as Leo, really don't mind the change of voice.

I'm getting really tired of the triangle, it really takes its toll on Donnie and Casey's character. And I wish poor Raph will have some action soon, he starts to look like a wimp.

Anyway, I'm eager to see more Northampton, but I'd like to know what happened in NYC in the meantime, why the Kraang haven't invaded the whole planet yet, if the EPF has taken more proeminence, and most importantly, what's up with Shreeder, Karai and Splinter.

I'd like to see an all out war in NYC between the EPF and the Kraang.

I thought Seth Green was fine (he does sound a bit much like Oz from buffy to my ear). I would'e been happy if Dominic Catrambone stayed on.

I really like the Friday the 13th homages in this episode (especially when creep replaced the potato sack (?) for Casey hockey mask. I grew up watching those movies.

Looking forward to seeing where this season takes us.

It's his first episode, I'd give him another episode or so to really get settled as Leo. ^_^

Settled, as well as in this case he could also be playing it a bit stressed to suit the current situation. If so then I figure it might take a few to really get a sense of how it's going to be permanently.

Do you think that the turtles would side with EPH until they meet Bishop?

I could see that. I know I'm not the only one who started suspecting Kurtzman being involved with the EPF. But definitely. I would imagine the turtles and these guys having to work together for a time. I wouldn't be surprised if some EPF agents tailed them to the farm. Or they might have eyes on the place. They've got to know about April and her powers. If Bishop does show in this series, and if he's anything like the 2k3 version,, then not much gets past that guy. I hope he's voiced by Lance Henriksen if he shows up.

I'd love to see the Turtles side with the EPF for a time, too. But before that, I want to see more at the farm and what they're going to do there first.
