I honestly don't see what the big deal is or why it would bother anybody. It's a cartoon for kids. Who the hell cares. Let them do whatever they're gonna do.

Only time would tell. I would love to be wrong but.....the romance in this show does have a shallow sitcom feel to it.

What lips, he doesn't have lips, just to be difficult I'll demand that this was a kiss only around the general mouth area!

As for leading him on... I suppose I'll leave that up to the next telling moment. Whether there is something between them or if she turns around and pulls another "this is really awkward I have to LEAVE THE ROOM RIGHT NOW" maneuver.

Encourage him to keep trying to get her attention, whether intentional or not, and then pull that once more, then yeah... girl you leading him on and need to be hit.

Even it does (good on them for not being predictable) I would still have mix feelings about it and for the record it has nothing due to the fact that he's a turtle. I mean, I'm type that would go for Garrus because there is so much chemistry between Shepard and him. This however does not.

It feels so one side. I just can't get with it.

I know that usually the "kiss" in these types of shows is supposed to be sign of who is "winning"(blargh, love isn't about "winning") love triangle, but so far I don't think writers are going to stop. My faith in writers is that low that I wouldn't be surprised if she continues to flirt with Casey after this.

The writers are for some reason being fricking insistent on this love triangle bs that nobody likes. I mean, seriously, who even likes love triangles? Shippers like relationships, heck even I like shipping and relationships, but do they like love triangles?

I feel like April's personality exists as plot device. Shes either the macguffin girl, the "I sense what directions we need to know so that plot can happen" character, or behaves in the way so that love triangle can continue. I mean, seriously, if she DOES like Donatello in "that way" what the hell was up with season 2 finale and Casey? Writers just make her act romantic to either one of them continuously so that love triangle continues on which is bad for her character since it makes her seem like she is unable to tell for some reason that she isn't interested in them.

And before you mention whole kunoichi thing, so far she hasn't actually been successful in fights due to inexperience. Her kunoichi(which btw, if she is kunoichi, why are turtles referred as ninjas instead of shinobi? I know writers probably wanted to be like "We have read about ninjas!" but it feels weird she isn't referred just as a ninja to me) training seems to be weird "Go girl power" thing which I don't think writers even needed to do, Karai was badass without much reference being made to that she was a girl. The only character moments I've liked with her were the ones with Irma and writers had to screw that up as well since apparently we can't have recurring female characters who aren't related to krang, turtles or foot <_< Heck, apparently April is such a loner her only friend besides turtles and Casey was an alien robot infiltrator. What the hell, why she doesn't have personal life at all?

Too long to read, I think show writers are awful at writing female characters and that their mind is stuck in nineties. Sorry for ranting, I'm little angry at writers because of this ^^;

That episode Chinatown Ghost story, Casey hugged her suddenly and her expression was the utmost horrified.

Plus she never EVER kissed Casey. Not even on the cheek like a grandma does. She never wanted to be serious with Casey.

No. You're are preaching to the choir. These are all the problems I have with this show. You know what? You're probably right cause the writers seem to lap this up like it's happy hour.

I agree. Casey was the one that just got all in her face like 'yeah, you're my girlfriend now' and then walk off without giving her the chance to agree or disagree. He led himself on.

Eh, in season 2 finale April had horrified face and stopped Donatello from confessing his love when she was bandaging him

Its almost like writers are divided on this love triangle

The world is in ruins and she didn't want to cloud his mind. And I think she was unsure of herself at that point - she's a teenager after all. In Season 3 she's more mature in both mind and physically - she has beaten Raph in a duel.

Through out season 2, she had all these come hither looks at Casey. I'm probably reaching here for her excuse, but I guess during that time she looking for a balance of normalcy that can exist with the crazy of being part Kraang?

And the reason why she disgusted with him recently because the world is ending and only thing he can think of is getting into her pants, which I can understand completely.
