As a 24-year-old I am not ashamed to say that Apritello is what originally drew me into watching this show. :]

It all is very sweet. And I am pretty confident this relationship will continue to tease viewers for as long as they can pull it off.

In all seriousness, my curiosity is right there - who is the leak. The mysterious individual who I can only assume may well keep up with the ninja stealth skills and never be known because that stuff getting out probably, if unauthorized, very likely breaks some previously signed nondisclosure agreements...

Or maybe the studio simply put it out to get people talking.

So cute. He's just a really nice, humble human being. And he goes through every voice he'd ever done in, like, the five minutes.

So, now that we know we are getting a time traveler into the series, I wonder if the Turtles do go into the future, or someone from the future does indeed come back, and this whole new plot line will makethings extra confusing!

You know, this is actually one of the reasons I find the pairings on the show so endearing. The future for the turtles is always so damn bleak. There's NOTHING for them to look forward to. And in nearly ever iteration I've seen there's a trend to how they end up:

They're either all dead save for one, Leo's blind, Mikey's missing an arm, Raph is missing an eye, Donnie is part cyborg or something, Splinter dies, they fight and split up and all end up by themselves. April either ends up with Casey or Casey dies...who knows? I don't recall any 'happy' future for the guys (Maybe for April). It makes me so depressed. Like, turtle future makes me want to cry.

So the idea of them being able to build a relationship with another character, and give each other a little happiness, is kinda some hope that everything doesn't turn to complete **** for all of them at the end. Even if that's just me being sappy.

This. Even if happily ever after isn't dramatic and rarely epic I'd rather see that be written for them more often than sad future/endings all the time, or ever...

They've given joy to fans for 30 years, cut 'em a break and let them have a bit of their own.

I've seen this schtick before, in real life and in other TV shows and movies. When person X and Y like eachother, but are still shy about it, they show their affections/how they feel to eachother when they are by themselves. When they are around other people, especially say, person x's relatives are within hearing distance, person y might just act cold because they want to keep what they are feeling to themselves. They just don't want the others in their business. I can totally see April doing this.

Yeah, that's true, and no one knows about the kiss anyway, so maybe April wants to pretend to be indifferent to Donnie so that the others don't give him a hard time about it, which I can totally see happening.

Well, we're not sure if Apritello is still canon or not. Both Apritello and Capril have valid points that eachother's ship is going to be sailing eventually. At the moment, it's still in limbo. Only thing I think us Apritello fans have at the moment, is that April has been seen kissing only Donnie, and never Casey. Yet.

I should be getting ready for my follow up appointment today, but I'm too into Vision Quest theories...

Anywho, I don't care one way or the other on the shipping stuff, but at this point, I couldn't see the Casey x April thing happening due to that kiss April gave Donnie. It's too suggestive, imo, and if she does suddenly start doing so with Casey, how in the world would that make her look? Think of the female viewers thinking it's okay to lead someone on. At least with the other kisses, they were very innocent given the situation.

If it turns out that she turns Donnie down later for a reason like, "It can never fully work out" given the species difference, but she does really "love" him, I can handle that. If it turns out she never liked him romantically in some way and gave him that kind of kiss, this would bother me.

yeaaa... I don't see that scenario happening.... It just sounds wrong if April chooses Casey just because Donnie won't work out.

unless she chooses no one...but that isn't gonna happen unfortunately.

I never said she chooses Casey though. That's more of a no one scenario I proposed.

But I don't think I can buy the "it won't work out because they are different species/the parts won't fit" Same sex couples face that same dilemma, from society as a whole not always willing to accept, to them having to get creative when in the bedroom because the parts aren't fitting, to adopting children or finding a surrogate when that biological clock starts ticking. It's just, right now, I feel that the whole reason why the de-aged April was for the crush Donatello was going to have, and that April is going to be returning it in some time, because age never stopped the Turtles from just crushing on April in the past (like the 1990 and 2014 movie) They probably de-aged Casey that way he didn't seem like a creep hanging out with all of these teenagers. But, what with all of the build up and what not from the very beginning, I am pretty sure many people are going to be royally pissed off if they don't see things through to the end. This is what I think could help Nick TMNT stand out, it dared to do something none of the other cartoons dared to do.
