In those leaked images, the turtles are wearing their costumes from Mazes & Mutants. What could THAT mean? And they could be either in Feudal Japan, or at Hohato Yoshi's youth.

Why do you think they would just go for a 7 month/one year hiatus? That's too long for Nick standards. The episode is already finished guessing from the footage. Season 3 is done now. By the time something like that ends, season 4 is already done.

What I'd like to see in the time travel episode:

The turtles time-travel close to the day that Saki attacked and burned down the house. They see it happen and one of them rushes in, shouting that they could save Tang Shen and even grab Karai before Shredder gets her, but Donatello pulls them back and explains that changing the past could be disastrous. Saving Tang Shen could ultimately lead to them not existing.
So, they would just watch it all happen, unable to do anything, but also unable to look away.
I would be sad, dramatic, and show more of the Shredder/Splinter backstory in a cool way. It wouldn't be complicated but still impactful.
Of course, this is just my idea. It could sound stupid and boring to other people.

Look if you guys really want people stop posting comments on "TMNT Season 3 Official Info Thread" then take this thread down. Set an announcement to inform everyone to simple send news to Machias Banshee or any Mod. Then she/he can put them on a thread that only she can post and credit the member of where she got the source from.

Sort of

Tale of the Yokai is the actual episode 19
and Turtles in Time is episode 20 as that was the production stamp for it in that leaked clip.

Yokai is a word that translates to demons.

So from the sound of things in Tale of the Yokai. The turtles learn there is Something in their fathers and Shredders history involving a Yokai.

And in turtles in time the Turtles learn they were the demons. As Oroku Saki does call them Yokai when he encounters them.

or if it's included in the time travel episodes, it could be that the turtles are traveling to the future where Shredder rules New York.

Do we know anything about Tales Of The Yokai? This is the first I've heard of it. Yokai are a topic of interest for me, so if the episode is true to it's title, I'm psyched.
