Actually it's episode 21. I got confused for a second because episode 20 is the Yokai episode.

Yokai is a word that translates to demons.

So from the sound of things in Tale of the Yokai. The turtles learn there is Something in their fathers and Shredders history involving a Yokai.

And in turtles in time the Turtles learn they were the demons. As Oroku Saki does call them Yokai when he encounters them.

There was also a Yokai theme running alongside the Bay film. Doesn't reflect what happened within the actual movie but there's supposed to be a legend about 'kappa yokai'? Sort of Japanese turtle guardians I guess. And various artists were commissioned to do promotional artwork for the film using various yokai themes.

Kappa are type of yokai, but they are tricksters not guardians. It is true they can be helpful, but they also can be crass and violent.

It's really not along wait, i'm a Gravity Fall fan, believe me it's not bad compared to what Gravity Fall fandom has to go through. Feels like it's been forever since we've had a new episode and it was flippin left on a cliff hanger, that makes things even worse

A three parter? Hope these guy's can handle this, season three in my opinion has not been good quality.
