I liked the episode though once again they forgot April has psychic powers. Not once has her powers kicked in when Shredder, his henchmen, or Karai is around. I just wonder how they would react if they knew she did.

Hmm....I going to re-watch this again to see if this not another head canon excuse.

Head canon excuse? This was just my interpretation of the scene.

Though Splinter tips off they may not see her again, so maybe they won't be as keen in finding like before.
.
No, its fine. There's nothing sue-ish about Splinter's technique.

People get disappointed because they see the previews and guess what happens, usually this is what they WANT to happen (which isn't the same as an outright prediction) and they convince themselves that this is what WILL happen.

Then when it doesn't play out that/their way, they claim they've been let down. This has been happening a lot recently.

Maybe, and I don't mean this rudely, but why don't people try avoiding episode descriptions and previews and you will probably enjoy the episodes a lot more when you go in 'blind'. That works for me. If you don't stake so much on the episode, you have less room to be 'disappointed'.

Re: hamster wheel, cheese phone. Splinter has stated before when Donnie swears to find him a retro mutagen, that he (Splinter) is now accepting of his form as a rat. This is also shown in the first or second season where he goes head-to-head with Shredder and utilises his 'rat skills' (agility?) within his combat.

Also, y'know, been said countless times. It is a kid's show. If you don't think that kids would find the wheel hilarious then either you had a miserable childhood or you've forgotten what it's like to be a kid.

But other than those two things, it was a good episode. I certainly didn't blame Donnie for snapping back at Leo when he should know as well as Don he is trying his best, but Leo is still just so obsessed with Karai to know he was being way too pushy with him in that instance.
The part where Splinter was performing the healing mantra he said he didn't know if he had the ability to use it on her. And later when he was using it on her, he disparagingly says that he had intended to heal her, but the result hurt her instead.

And I feel it would be too convenient if Karai is completely cured of the worm and it's effects just like that. After all the Nick Show wouldn't have shown the Shredder plugging more brain worms into Karai's head unless there was a reason for it later.

Odds are yes she is no longer in the control of the Shredder after she puked up that first Brain Worm. But no I don't think she's an ally of the Turtles just yet.

April's powers are emotionally reactive. So while it was possible that April could use her powers to bring back suppressed memories like she did with Splinter. She herself didn't consider the possibility of doing so...and if she did there were too many Foot Hench Mutants around. She couldn't risk one of them informing the Shredder so he can make her into another Karai.

When she barfed that worm up though. ERGH.

They won't show the worm going in, but they fully display it coming out. Lovely.

Tarris Val also offered another plausibility, the Shredder wasn't plugging in more worms. But instead when Leo had used the healing hands technique on Karai in Deadly Venom had damaged the worm she had been injected with. Or at least loosened the Kraang worm's hold on her. So she wasn't injected with multiple worms, the original one was being replaced.

Okay, managed to see the ep now.

Can I say, yay! Because Karai was in it a lot.

But, sigh. I'm fed up with the trope they keep going over with her. And I mean, over and over and over. Please, can she just be on team good guys for more than five seconds? Can we see a few eps of family time?

I bet we wont see her until after the space arc now. This frustrates me. She has hardly been in season 3, and that sucks.

I want to see some development in the Spinter/Karai/Shreder arc.

She's one of my faves, can you tell?

I wonder what would happen if the Brain Worm had a second mutation...perhaps we may see that. Or not. I wonder what it would be like if it did though.

So if Karai could call Splinter, shouldn't she be able figure out where the lair is? Scratch that, she already knew where the lair was, there was no need for traps when she could just launch an attack on the lair? In fact, why hasn't she done so way earlier?

Because that would be too logical!

Can someone explain this phrase please?

Karai (when knocking April down) said:

(09'21'')
If it isn't the little wannabe Kunoichi, always trying!

I don't quite get it...
Thank you in advance for your reply

Easy answer bud.

April has been training to be a Kunoichi throughout the show, but compared to Karai, she's not as experienced despite trying to save the day again.

I surmise that the Mind Worm suppresses any memories of having the Turtles as her friends, which would block any memory of the lairs location as that would have been a memory where the Turtles were her friends. Also being a predator, it's all about the thrill of the hunt. Going into their lair and killing them all as they slept would be too easy. Instead she wants to enjoy hunting down each of the Turtles and their allies and watching them suffer as they die.

Oh how cute, people trying to correct me and say I'm wrong when I dare make a disapproving stance about a new episode. Especially Cubed.

When y'all are done making excuses for everything this show does especially when it does something wrong, I'll be offline once more.

And I'll be sure to not have the door hit me on the way out.

The Brain Worms look like some relative of the Kraagathathehrnan whatever they're called.

And mutagen is essentially the milk they produce to feed their young, so if they are related, I doubt Brain Worms could or would mutate. It would probably just be a form of nourishment for them.

I feel like this is sordid fan fiction material so I'll leave it there.
