I respect what FW cartoon did for the turtles franchise but it is the most overrated and hard to watch of the 3 turtles cartoons.

Yeah, Dan shows the space suit belt being pulled down to show the lack of regular belt, and the figures are just recycled Battle Shell basics with new head sculpts (sans Mikey).

Which defeats the sole purpose I wanted the 5-pack. As i had plans to take off the space suits and have cartoon accurate turtles without the giant hinge on the side of the figures.

And personally, I kinda think the basic Fugitoid looks slightly better with the pearl-like white and light gray compared to the vacuum metalized plastic and darker gray plastic. Had the vac metal Fugitoid had a lighter gray on the tube upper arms and legs he'd look much better, and I'd probably shell out to get it.

I just realized that the metal mutants five pack and the individual dimension x turtles have different head sculpts. So, 6 new head sculpts.

And I agree with the battle shells. If we got those without the hinge, it would be awesome. I was wandering if you could put the shiny colored plastic with the pearl white armor, put that on the original release turtles, and put the battle she'll head on it. So it has accurate face, no hinge, show accurate armor, and shiny colors.

Edit: maybe I'm thinking too deep...

I didn't notice that the metal mutant dimension x suit turtles have different heads than the single carded versions.

The Leo head on the single carded version looks way better!

It's a bummer they just reused the BS bodies, when Savage Mikey don't have the BS feature (iirc).

It's been on sale for a while. I like mine though. I bought a regular Fugitoid though.

Well, I decided to have a look at the pixelated dan video - OK, I fast forwarded using the bottom scroll bar.
The set, as far as I'm concerned is very nice. It is a well presented, well packaged set of Turtles, with Fugitoid, in unique presentations (the 'metal' look). The Turtle heads are different as well, to their single carded counterparts. As for belts n stuff. The new gear has to go onto the figures, and additional bulk would hinder the space suits. And BS Turtles. That is OK by me, as these are great stock figures to use. The hinge is somewhat non-relevant if you want the set for what it is meant to be. If you want to strip down your Turtles, well... each to their own

Anyways, as I said, I like the set.

What else/ Recently I've been chasing TMNT (the movie) and 2K3 Turtles vehicles and figures. So my only new 2015 stuff is based upon the Mix n Match sets.
I got Dog Pound, the multi armed Foot soldier and Rahzar, so I think Im uo to date with Mix n Match figures again.
I gotta thro this one in, as I was looking for a while, but I did get the TMNT movie Nightwatcher set today, so I was pretty pleased with that.

Considering both Don and Leo still have their regular belt on the front section of the shell, and it's only the carapace that's without the belt, it seems to fit a belt under the space belt just fine. And the Giant Metal Mutant Leo have a complete regular belt under his space suit with no problems.

The giant figure even have the space boots which the Basics lacks.

Ouh sweet! How does the foot soldier limbs connect?

Are the weapons removable or are they just molded with the arms?

All arms do come off, right?

The Black Friday ads for Target have been revealed and it has buy one get one 50% off again with TMNT figures listed. Looks like I'll be hitting that hard, assuming they restock with new figures, as I haven't found anything since a lonely Karai at Big Lots a month back. I guess there is a reason why I haven't found them yet

I would like to answer the questions, but so far I have kept all of my TMNT MnMs in their packs, unlike my chocolate MnMs, which I open as soon as I get them

It all looks tho, like everything pulls apart. I'll take a photo later so that you can make you own determination.

Yesterday Toy Hunt

So yesterday I went to Walmart and bought the Dimension X Turtles and Fugitoid. Those were the only Dimension X toys there were. I was hoping on them having Mozar and Lord Dregg, but they didn't have those two and I ran out of money. Only got three dollars.

Yo SG, thanks for that 8xLeo vid. I actually enjoyed that.

I have that set on order and Im glad it'll take its time to get here as by the time I get it, i may have forgotten all the postal charges

The figures look OK, but in advance, I will locate my FF Leo's translucent blue bladed swords and the belt from the KO set for Movie Star Leo. That will help the presentation.

Right - I took a pic:

All the arms come off, or go on ! Four in total. Weapons are part of the arms.

Also, I noticed that this batch uses Mikey and not Leo on the packs.

So Mikey is the new mutations face for the new stuff next year?, all 3 have turtle headsculpts, don limbs, and metalhead arm. I wonder if there are pegs for the Foot Soldiers back, keeping the extra area for arms would have made the figure a bit more interesting in this line, if not then it is a missed opportunity.

I still like this mix and match line for its silliness.

I will try to look at the pegging for the arms later today. I kept these three in an ever growing display in my master classroom. I think this collection gets more attention than my lessons !
Silliness sums this line up. I am glad I started getting them, and kept it up. The chosen mixes for the front of pack graphics are at times really messed up, and they didn't follow the rules that I thought they would.
I expected all the limbs to retain similar lengths so that any right-left combination would result in a figure that could at least stand. No... Not the case.

It would be interesting to see how this range is selling in comparison to the main range, or even HSH.
