I'm trying to cut down on my sodium intake. I'll settle for a Yoplait.

I'm not ready for the Powder/Kraken thing to stop. This needs to keep going. I've seen a few stiff jabs but no knockout punch yet. C'mon!

You sure? Because you're doing a darn good job at doing so.

Earth to Papenbrook, last I checked no one on this site asked to be "aware" of anything you got to say. In case you haven't figured it out, usually any topic you make ends up going up in smoke. And for good reasons too. So maybe you should just quit while you still have chance, huh?

The internet is a much quicker platform for awareness. In addition, more people will discover the topics that need to be dissected and discussed. You might not want to participate, but other people might want to.

Be careful, though. Ignorance is not bliss, Powder. You may regret your decision to ignore your chance of awareness.

Someone apparently decided she needed a cause but was too lazy to go deeper than the late A's in her dictionary.

"Awareness". Clarify yourself. "Awareness" of what? That young people nowadays have their skin on inside-out? We are all now VERY aware, thanks to you. If that is your mission, your mission is done.

Believe me, I know. If it were, you'd be a lot happier.

But again, this isn't the place for your socio-political soapboxing. Not a single member here is interested in it, except maybe Plastron, but even she's well aware that this site is ill-fit for it.

You were raised in a different generation, Leo.
Of course you're not going to understand today's problems. They have become(or always were) complex. You are just seeing the world from your perspective.

If you don't want to be enlightened, that's your choice. However, you are not only hurting yourself, but others as well. I hope you realize someday.

I still wouldn't be happy, Powder.

People aren't exposed to much of the realization of society's flaws. Or..., I guess most people on these forums don't care? It's complicated.

Despite the overall Stupid level shattering records across multiple threads at once, I'm seriously having, just, the best time tonight.

If my passion for recognizing issues with the modern world is one of "society's flaws", then you are being hypocritical, Powder. You yourself have brought up issues with humanity in some of your posts.

Such as people shoving their socio-political views & opinions in the face of others & projecting them onto kids shows. Just keeps coming full circle, you know?

Krakenbrook, your grievances are very non-specific and it makes it rather difficult to take you seriously. Also, you may or may not be a child, which would make anything you say gibberish and nonsense by default anyway.

Point being, nobody's yet quite sure why they're supposed to listen to you. Me, I just enforce my will on people and they either adapt or flee, but you... you're a strange one.

Regardless of my age, Leo, you should try and listen to what I am saying. It might help you.

Here are a few grievances I have with how the general public operates.

- We live in a patriarchal world. Nearly everything is taught through a masculine/male perspective. It's difficult for individuals to notice because humanity has gotten used to it. Even if someone tries to rectify the problem, they are usually looked down upon, as they are going against the norm. That's why insults such as "Social Justice Warrior" and "Feminazis" are used.
- We also live in a culture where appearance is judged harshly. We are so obsessed with promoting healthiness that people are stereotyped as "fit" or "fat" because of their body type. It harms people personally and lowers their self esteem.
- Unfortunately, humanity as a whole has also adapted colorism in its culture. People are generalized by their skin colors. I see it nearly everyday. It's depressing honestly.

I hope you can recognize the flaws with society now.

I'm gonna hazard a guess and say... 14. And nobody under 25 knows anything, so, yeah, no, nobody's listening.

I'm also a white, fit, good-looking male and I enjoy having all of the cards stacked in my favor, not merely a few. So I see none of those things as problems! If anything those are Things Society Totally Figured Out Already.

Society hasn't really acknowledged those "things" as problems. If anything, they are trying to reject those difficulties, and even reinforcing those issues by perpetuating them.

However, if we recognize those obstacles, and try to minimize(or even eliminate) them through knowledge and correct experience, our world could have a much better environment.

Well again, it's not a "difficulty" if it works in your favor.

I mean, consider:

- Men are stronger than women, and might generally makes right, and if nothing else, if society were to collapse and there was a need to rebuild, men would conveniently end up doing all the grunt work on that regardless of how "equal" women say they wanna be. Thus, semantics can be argued all day long, but males will always have the Ace card. Aside from baby-making, we're ultimately more important for Every Other Thing. Sorry. No, wait, I'm a guy. I meant, PBBBBBTTTTHHH!

- People would rather look at fit, healthy, good-looking people, not sloppy, slobbish ones. Your appearance is a public service and says a lot about a person and what they prioritize. People have always been judged on looks and always will be. Not fair? It's not supposed to be. People are shallow. Tough. At least women are able to exploit their looks for profit in ways men rarely can. Talk about double-standards!

- How is Freshman Sociology going? Not really related, just curious!

But yeah, the fact that 10% of the population controls like 80% of the wealth, or some sh*t, that's a problem. The stuff you're talking about is a bunch of nonsense from people who think "fairness" and "equality" are anything but abstract concepts with no foundation in reality. "I'm a woman, I want what men have!" Tough! I'm a white guy, I want a black guy's penis, that's an injustice I have to live with! We all have to settle for less than we think we deserve, because "Life" wasn't designed with "rules" that have to be "fair".

....I mean I *have* a black guy's penis. Shut up.
-----------------------

Anyways, long story short, I know you won't recognize a lot of this as the teasing it absolutely is. But seriously, you're too sensitive and you need to relax.

...I also didn't even realize Powder had "tagged me in". That lazy bastard can't even stay and finish his own nonsense!
