Finally got around to reading this, and it was a decent issue. My main problem with volume 4 is how slow paced it is, I don't think they're is a single issue that could be adapted into an animated episode.

Okay, I read it last night. I enjoyed it quite a bit, it's a little disappointing that after two years, we still didn't get anything new with Raph, Mike or Don, but what was here was really good. Drunk Casey was pretty amusing and I'm intrigued by Karai's treatment of him. I hope the book gets on a good bimonthly schedule now because this issue mostly just made me want more.

So, I just found out about this. Been busy the last couple of weeks, figures. Anyway, live in Canada so it was $15 but I think its important to support comics in the paperback form they should be in. Plus, I own all the other Turtle comics, so ... must own. Completist inside me calls. Too bad I missed out on the Peter's signature though. They look awesome. Maybe I will catch it on the next one. Any idea how long it will take to ship to Canada?

Also, was order #429 - So looks like they are almost half way to selling out. Thought the order number was cool #429 = Vol. 4 Issue 29 - - - 429. I know I am a geek.

Yipeee, got mine today complete with head sketch, which is very cool!
I enjoyed the issue, story was good and Jim Lawson's art seemed more detailed than usual, I'll definitely be ordering the next one.

The bar scene was indeed funny, until that Xihad nut showed up anyway, and what's with Karai?
Feeling horny is she? Bringing Casey back to her place and all that, probably for sinister purposes no doubt.

So with nearly 500 issues already sold at $10 a pieace and all income going directly to Mirage without any middle men, you have to believe they will make a good profit with this issue at least. Will other comic companies consider doing business like this?

Heh, yeah, sinister.

Karai never has been evil has she? From what I've gathered from reading over the years, she never wanted to fight the Turtles. Their fight was with Oroku Saki, and after his death all was laid to rest. Unfortunately some of Saki's loyalists wanted to avenge him, which led to skirmishes between Karai and the Turtles.

Anyway, I sense no ill will with what she is going to do with/to Casey. He's obviously drunk and took a pretty hard tumble, so why not crash someplace close by with someone you know instead of stumbling around New York trying to get home. He could get hit by a taxi!

Well, how many issues was Mirage selling through Diamond a month?

That comparison must be made for a fair idea of "good profit".

BUT, no one can put a price on the peace of mind it seems Mr. Laird has achieved through eliminateing future advertisements (4 months in advance) and print due dates required by Diamond distributing.

I think we , the readers, ultimately win in the current situation -- the comics will not be rushed; time and effort can be put into them.

I was a little lost in this issue as I haven't read many of the 20s yet, but I liked the bar scene. Loved the last splash page..nice throwback to v1.

I actually ordered all the back issues I missed along with this issue (minus 25 and 26, sold out)...and for some reason I read this one first!
