AHHHHH YEAHHH!!!! RAT KING IN DA HIZZ HOUSE! Great episode, loved the humor and Rat King's naming of the rats, if you didn't notice they were named after Greek philosophers and rulers. By far my favorite character in the series, glad to see more of his delusions and philosophy ( or Rat-losophy, am I right)
But I hope he didn't die in the giant underground sewer playground. Great ep in my opinion, even liked Ice cream kitty.

Part of me is wondering if they might go down that one route where he starts haunting people's dreams, but yet when the Turtles and Splinter finally find him, he's dead and an inert skeleton. I think I remember that being in one of the comics, and that it seemed like it wasn't clear if it was their own fears or a real ghost.

What does it even say? I won't be sleeping for weeks.

Yea I agree about the ending being a little abrupt - like "Oh, over already?" kind of feels. It almost feels like there wasn't any solid conclusion. Still a fantastic episode though.

That would make me happy. A good lesson for guys to not pin for an unrequited love.

It says "CHEESE. GIVE ME CHEESE."

Pretty hilarious stuff, but also insanely dark. Not too surprised since Spongebob and Flapjack got away with some fairly off-putting stuff. Glad Ciro and company are continuing to push things in terms of what they can get away with on Nick. And I know this has been mentioned already about the Rat King, but Jeffrey Combs is amazing in this role, as usual.

Also, POKEMON REFERENCE.

I kinda figured Mikey throwing the ice cream kitty at Rat King was a Pokemon reference, but I wasn't quite sure. Did he say, "go!" or "attack!" after he threw it?

This show never ceases to disgust me...
But this was a nice episode. Rat King has totally gone off of the deep end and the giant rats were...uh, a nice touch. I guess. Irma reminds me of Eileen from Regular Show, the weird friend that never seems to know when to stop talking. When (if) she ever meets the turtles, I can see her being cool with Leo. Also, good redemption for Mikey. ICK was adorable and her fighting the giant rats was hilarious.

I actually think he says "ICE CREAM KITTY AWAY," but the reference is there - cooler's colors, the way Mikey tosses it and ICK jumps out, the stylized background, etc. Not too surprised considering how many other anime related references/influences pop in and out of the show.

loved it

everytime irma talks, all i can think of is velma. the haircut, glasses, short skirt, and the real factor, her voice. that said though, im liking her, and i think shell start tolook into where casey and april go off to.

the best scene for me in this episode was caseys last one. totally badass moment, dropping his gloves and punching that rat.

It was kind of character defining moment for Casey. No matter how scared he is, he would rather be fighting along side his friends then be cowering in the turtle lair.

Totally awesome episode. I never get sick of watching Splinter fight and I love the fact that this show doesn't make Splinter out to be invincible and even shows weakness and fear in him. It raises the dramatic stakes for sure. I hope we've not seen the last of the Rat King. I also loved the way Casey tried to disguise his voice. LOL.

Good episode. The parts with Splinter and the Rat King were the best ones. Good thing the whole episode wasn't just Mikey hiding the ICK from others. I had to rewatch the failed rathuman part, dayum!!!

Can't remember if RK's white rat was given a name before this ep, but calling it Aristotle must have been a homage to Socrates, the white rat from Willard.

I'm a massive fan of Splinter in this series so it's always good to have an ep focused on him. And I love it when he goes into 'rat mode' like when he fought Shredder!

I see it too. Only Velma didn't look like a nerdy goth.
