FWIW Barnes and Noble is doing a TMNT themed week(ish) from 8/4 - 8/9 as part of their "Get Pop-Cultured" summer events.

No thanks, Pizza Hut. $11.99 for a 1 topping Cheesy Bites pizza is a lame deal.

I will stick with their standard deals like 2 medium 2 toppings for $12 or the large/2 liter/side item for $15.

But I will be happy to see the limited time pizza boxes delivering my deals of choice.

Currently at my local mall (which is fairly large in size) and FYE, Spencers, and Hot Topic all have tmnt in their main display windows. FYE is the only one promoting the new movies toys though, and the other two are clothing of the retro show

THAT was Pizza Hut's big commercial promoting the movie? Wow, what a joke. Also...are the "special turtle pizzas" (which aren't special at all, mind you) all they're doing? No TMNT things you can buy...? TMNT pizza boxes...? Really lame promotion.

I think that Pizza Hut really missed out on doing something cool. The turtle pizzas aren't special at all, and from what I've heard you can only order them online and it's like a hidden menu? That was a big mistake. The commercial was so stupid, and as far as I know there isn't anything you can buy and there aren't any special TMNT pizza boxes. Lame.

And they have a life size pizza flinger based on the tmnt toy which is awesome lol

A hidden menu? Online only? I can't understand this. Are they ashamed of being connected with this film? Do they not want anyone to buy TMNT pizza? Did some idiot think he was being clever when he came up with this insane marketing strategy? Do they only think readers of the Hollywood Reporter will be interested in TMNT cheesy bites pizza? Why is everything about this movie so confusing?

And that promo was kind of stupid. I mean, the general idea behind it wasn't bad, but the execution and the look on Donny's face were just so silly. On the other hand, I was kind of excited when I recognized TSFH's Moving Shadows at the very end. It's an awesome piece of music, and I always am reminded of the TMNT when I listen to it. So that's pretty cool.

Look, I know you're vehemently trying to defend this movie, but just take a look at what a disaster this Pizza Hut thing is. How many people are going to see this hidden menu? Not many, I'd imagine.

This was my complaint. I've seen people linking Pizza Hut stuff and I go to pizzahut.com and there's no way in hell of figuring out what the pizza/TMNT tie in is. Pretty lame on that front.

Still.....I want to see the Pizza Thrower in action!
