The guy said he saw what looked like playable animations for Mewtwo, Dixie, chorus men, and Ridley.

If this is true I can see them and Ice Climbers, Wolf and Lucas returning when the Wii-U version comes. The fact that the 3DS screen has weird gaps says a lot.

Given the Mario Kart 8 DLC, its not too surprising people are speculating character DLC for Smash.

Anyway I can safely say I will only play as Dark Pit once or twice, just to beat Classic/All-star mode with him in single player to get his trophy and then I'll never play as him again. He truly is the most garbage character to be in this series since Pichu. His character just feels like Sakurai in videogame form, sickening.

Given the Koopalngs and Alph, I'm surprised we didn't get more alts like those. Daisy for Peach (even though I dislike Daisy), Demise for Ganondorf, etc

Cubed, you honestly crack me up. It kind of brightens my day a little bit to know there's people out there with no real-life problems. The way you hold the most insignificant grudges longer than most people hold their wives is amazing.

The Smash community is hovering between anger and depression, you should see the kind of rants those people are posting.

Sakurai ignored popular and heavily requested characters such as Ridley, Mewtwo, Dixie or King K. Rool, cut three popular characters (Ice Climbers, Wolf, and Lucas or Snake depending on your perspective), and put in clones or hated characters like Dr. Mario and Dark Pit.

The only thing that can rectify this is DLC.

I'm excited for the demo but I'll be holding on from getting the game since like I mentioned it will be too similar to the Wii U version. I hope there's something extra for the Wii U version because with the early leaks of the 3DS version, the Wii U being almost exactly the same does take a bit of the excitement away.

I'm bummed Subspace is gone, I know we've known for over a year but I loved the Subspace, never understood the hate it got and Sakurais reason of the CG scenes being uploaded is stupid but I guess that's just his excuse since the Subspace wasn't well liked and received a lot of attention. I personally loved it, it was what I expected from the adventure mode in Melee.

As for the roster I already posted I was already happy with it when it leaked, but I'll post about it later.

No. You're wrong. The majority of the Smash community is incredibly hyped and excited for the game. It's just the few loud mouths like you and the entitled children on Smashboards and Miiverse who are upset. Now please, shut up or talk about something else. SSE was boring and tedious. It was a horribly designed mess. The boss fights were neat fan service and the cut scenes were fun, but outside of that it had no redeeming values.

I'm really surprised Sakurai went up and cut Ice Climbers instead of having them as solo characters like the male/female Villagers or Wii Fit trainers. In the original NES game they were separate characters too.

Its pretty obvious the only reason they were cut were the 3DS limitations and its a shame. They were in Smash for over a decade and it doesn't feel right to have them gone, I really enjoyed playing them when I was a kid/young teen back in 2001.

I hope they're brought back somehow, they were characters I never expected to see gone since they were Sakurai's first "pet characters" that he put in because of favortism as nobody had a clue who they were when they first appeared in Melee.

Pretty much this. It was an interesting experiment to try out, and it definitely had its fun moments, but there's no way in hell I'd ever replay that. It was so tedious.

You'd be amazed the amount of stuff I read, I just have nothing to add to most of it. I like to read while I eat, it relaxes me. I skim all kinds of random nonsense now and then, even stuff I'm more peripherally interested in, just for kicks. For some reason it quiets the lingering buzz that sticks in my head from people yapping at me at work all day.

I mean, it's not that I don't care at all about the game, I like the Smash games just fine. It's just that I initially just wanted to see what people were saying about it in general, since it was coming out soon... and then the last few days I've more been checking in to watch Cubed flog the horse.

Psh, CyberPubed's been doing this since he complained about the original voice actors not being apart of Turtles Forever. I'm pretty confident whenever they announce a Smash movie or some sh*t he'll just do the same about Megan Fox being in it. "IT'S STILL REAL TO ME, DAMNIT!"

I can't believe Sakurai would do this to us. Why didn't he give us Dixie or Ridley yet? Why does he hate the Zelda series so much? We need a DLC announcement. This roster is seriously disappointing with all these cut characters.
