Well I included FF to give a more conplete scale of CBM quality. Let's face it that movie is pretty much the lowest of the low end of the scale. Maybe I should have used Green Lantern instead, though I didn't have as many problems with it as some did. But if it is as good as Guardians or Apocalypse, I am in.

I realize Deadpool is more subjective than most, he mostly gets by on his schtick. But as one who has read a lot of his comics, the movie was right in line with that- light on story, heavy on character and humor. That's him all over. I mean, this is a comic that had an entire story about a Hit-monkey.....

I watched it. Was a bit interesting but kinda boring towards the end. I liked the Harley Quinn origin thing with the Joker though. As well as that chase scene.

Just saw it a third time, and each time it's gotten better.

If you're on the fence about seeing it, I'd say go for it. The scenes do fee squishes, but honestly the characters make up for it. It's a fun movie, and brings some cool DC characters to life.

Bonus: Batman and Bruce get multiple cameos that are all fantastic.

Bonus Bonus: another member of JL gets a cameo

Haha, don't know if this is an insult or some jab at the movie (but knowing you it probably is) but either way, I liked the movie, had multiple friends that wanted to see it, so I kept going.

It's my belief that this movie does not deserve the critics reviews, so I would happily see this multiple times to show my appreciation for it

This movie was chopped up in the cutting room and all the Joker scenes were cut. I might as well wait till the uncut version comes out on bluray like they did with Batman/Superman.

Ditto. We should be ashamed of ourselves.

Except he was in the movie and Joker was pretty importat to the story.....so......maybe go watch and quit saying untrue things.

If you wanna wait, thats fine. Jokers in the movie and is in there plenty and just enough.

Its ok not to like it. Not ok to lie about what's in it or not if you haven't seen it.

.
Jared Leto was pissed and angered that "many" of his Joker scenes were cut from the movie:

http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/08/...-suicide-squad

Watch the video where he's interviewed, you can see the anger in his face and he says, "HOW many scenes were cut?!"

Quote:
“Were there any that didn’t get cut? I’m asking you, were there any that didn’t get cut? There were so many scenes that got cut from the movie, I couldn’t even start. I think that the Joker… we did a lot of experimentation on the set, we explored a lot. There’s so much that we shot that’s not in the film.

“If I die anytime soon, it’s probably likely that it’ll surface somewhere. That’s the good news about the death of an actor is all that stuff seems to come out.”
He is livid and pissed.

Yeah, some. Not all. He's in there and from what i hear about what was cut, no big loss.

Cutting some scenes is not the sane as he is cut all together. You were just spreading untruth.

Jared Leto says they filmed quite a bit that was cut, and obviously he would know more than anybody...he's the Joker actor in the film. In fact if you look back to the Joker trailers released online a few weeks back, many of those scenes are not even in the film.

I'm sure we'll see the cut scenes eventually, just look at the uncut version of the Batman/Superman movie they put out which is like an hour longer than the theatrical version. Only problem is waiting for the blu-ray to see a "complete" version of the movie is rather unfortunate, some people won't give this film a second chance months later.

Looks like this one is front loaded like BvS:

@GiteshPandya: SAT drop for #SuicideSquad huge, even bigger than might be expected. May tumble by over 40% & end below $40M. Maybe $130M-ish wknd now.

The negative rottentomato scores combined with the news of the cut scenes, I'm not surprised people are holding off for an uncut blu-ray release.

While obviously id take as much of Joker Leto as I can, there was plenty of him to get a feel for his take. A great introductiong to what will hopefully be a recurring joker in the DCMU.

Seriously, the high and low voice range with a growl, gag weapons, the mannerisms, the costumes. He is a fantastic joker. Him shooting that machine gun while crying out in laughter is so perfectly joker.

I'd say what was cut is a pretty big deal. A whole different take/story was lost in regards to Joker and Harley's relationship in favor of a Disney ending.

I recommend seeing this in theater, because it might lead to more good DCEU movies. Every vote counts.

They'll show up three and 4 times, to get numbers up, support their team.

Also, there's no competition, at all.

Every vote counts to which version? If you give this movie your money, you're basically encouraging more s*itty edit hatchet jobs.

Maybe it's just that I'm not a professional movie maker, but I didn't see that. If I go see it again, I'll try to find something to complain about.
