There was an article a while back that stated that people "in house" believed that a 4th season was pretty much a foregone conclusion, and it was just a matter waiting for the official announcement from Nick.

Ciro says he wants to make at least 5 seasons. That will probably happen anyway.

I do expect the show to have a 7 season run to make it equal with 4kids.

I wonder why it's only 20 episodes? I know I've posted my own theories before, but I'm still curious.

Less episodes means less production costs. They probably realize they don't have to spend that much money for one season.

Be glad they didn't cut it down to 13 episodes.

I've noticed that the nickandmore website that usually lists the episodes has suddenly added the production code numbers for the last four episodes.

It's now got

223
224
225
226

Which weren't there before on the list. So I'm assuming it's in prep for announcing the last four episode air dates and titles sometime soon.

Keep on your toes everyone.

I didn't even realize the 4Kids show was even on that long.

Too bad we'll probably never get a series that lasted as long a the OT series did.

Hm. 7 Seasons with 20 episodes from seasons 4-7 sound great. It's a lot better to have 20 episodes in my opinion rather than all of that filler garbage we got this season, although the actual plot was a lot better.

Yeah it popped up a couple of days ago, I think maybe the dates and titles will be revealed next week.

Just because the OT series lasted long didn't make it any good. Season 1 was good, season 2 was decent, and seasons 3-6 were dreadful. I thought seasons 7-10 we're pretty good, feeling more like seasons 1 and 2, but still weren't that great.

I really hope Seth Green is the final Leonardo. I thought Dominic would go on to play Leo and I was getting used to it. I hope they don't change the voice actors for any of the other characters. It's not that I feel that the voice actors are perfect, it's that they've gotten good at their characters and I'm used to hearing the voices. I wonder if Seth is gonna try to mimic Jason's voice like how Dominic is doing, or if he's gonna do his own spin on Leo.

I was actually referring to its popularity.

I agree about season 1,2, and seasons 7-10, especially 7. I liked every single ep for 7.

Oh. I feel it was so popular in the '80s and '90s because it was so new. The 2012 is really popular, but not NEARLY as popular as the '80s cartoon. I'd say the 2003 series was equal (in popularity) to the 2012 series.

Why would they even need to though? Unless any of them suddenly drop dead or start posting bigoted offensive nonsense on social media - they're in this for the long run.

They conduct themselves properly.

They attend comic cons and various other events and promote the show. And yes I'm aware they get paid to do this but they also spend a lot of their free time chatting to fans in person and online - something which they don't get paid for.

I always see photos of fans with Rob or Greg or Sean. I never saw anyone get one with Jason.

He did a great job as Leo but he's out of the picture. Done. Dusted.

Let's move on.

I agree. I felt Jason didn't care about the property too much. Rob, Greg, and Sean always went to the comic-cons and took pictures. Jason did that when the show started, but just stopped doing it. I think he's not that great of a person, it's just kind of hard to adjust to a different voice actor when you're so used to the emotion that another has given to the character.

The thing with this is he attended the first, people forget Rob, Sean, and Mae stated on an IGN interview video at last year's SDCC that they were already doing voice work for Season 3 then.

Last year this time would have been not too long after the stuff about Jason came out, then we all saw that Jason wasn't there for last years CC.

It seems pretty clear now that he didn't attend because he was already gone, but they couldn't mention that Seth was already in because it was too abrupt.

So if Season 3 was already being worked on this time last year, Seth Green was already working with them then, but they had to keep it under wraps, and they waited for the proper time to make the announcement. Pretty impressive they managed to pull it off living in the TMZ era.

So we can't really state how much he "cared" because he was there long before anything aired and was gone not long after the show started airing, so there's no telling exactly how long he was actually there to begin with.

Or they had Seth come in and re-record Jason's lines for season 3.

Hm, that could be a possibility. Or he re-recorded the lines.

I hope the Leo one-shot is called either Silent Partner or What Goes Around... Comes Around!

In case anyone doesn't know what this means, these are the titles in the Mirage comic books.

Ugh, I woke up this morning all like "Yay, new TMNT coming today! Oh wait, nevermind, there is a hiatus." Well at least there is a new Halt and Catch Fire, good show.

Anyway, do we have any idea as to when it will be back on?

Part of me still can't believe we're down to 4 episodes.
Yeah, I'm going to be watching "The Manhattan Project" this morning since there's nothing else on. But these breaks do get tiring when you're eager to see what'll happen next. Ah, well, I guess I can deal.
